GAH I'M LATE but um... twiddles my thumbs This was meant to be a birthday gift for @daddybendy aka MsMoroxide I was delighted to see you've returned to posting, and even more so when I heard your birthday was coming up! I hope things are well for you, and that you had an amazing birthday I just wanted to say that your art has been like... a huge inspiration for me since forever??? While I originally fell in love with Dandy's personality, I've come to admire a LOT of your characters, plus generally how you DRAW. I love studying your art-- be it your anatomy or rendering. I still have a long way to go, but I hope to be able to create with half of the finesse you have one day. Anyway enough of the yapfest, I hope you like your gift-- sincerely apologize for it being late, i tend to get nitpicky with my art (and sorry if your sona is off model, i could only find the pinned doodle on your twitter for a reference) Once again, I hope you had a WONDERFUL birthday!

Indie creators are not your friends.

We create content out of love and passion, and it is super gracious and generous that we share it out into the world. Fly and Nort are extremely generous to share motm with the world. They could have just kept it as a small idea within the confines of their own home, but they decided to share it and create a community for all of us. They interact with the community and give us funny side drawings and answer our questions and do so much despite their own busy lives.

That is a PRIVILEGE. Not a right.

They can absolutely take that away at any time, that is within their rights. They are REAL people with REAL friends and a REAL family. They are the same as you and I.

We all bleed red, and we all have emotions. I've had creators who are my friends tell me these horrific experiences from the general public, some have even left certain spaces because of how bad it has gotten, and I have had to leave or take space away from places because of parasocial incidents myself.

I reiterate. Indie creators are not your friends. We are not your friends. We are here to create and do our passion. We are pursuing our careers like any other people; just like doctors, lawyers, accountants, etc. Just because we have eyes on our career does not give you guys the right to treat us like we ourselves are the entertainment.
