Jonathan walked down the airfield, carrying a package. Gee, this felt familiar. "Hangar... B," he said, finding the right one. Peeking his head inside, he called out, "Pilot, are you in here? Got a package for ya." (Hope this is okay!) @redgentleengie

Then Johnny Ronald Nationals [Pilot] excitedly peeks out from the entrance door of the aircraft as he stares at him. “package?”

Jonathan waved back. “The others are fighting today, but not me. It’s my day off,” he explained. “Thought I’d make myself useful and deliver a package, since I’m around the base.”

Nodding, the Engineer moved to the fuel station, taking the nozzle in hand as he searched for the fuel hatch. “How long have you been working as a pilot?” he asked. (Yeah! It’s good to be back)

Pilot heaves the crate right inside the plane as he placed it down, counting how many crates he stuffed inside the cargo plane. Like about 10 Crates. He dust off his hands and he perked out the plane. “Uuh..Hmm” he look down to his hand as he counts again. “Like about 4 years now.” (Sorry for a late reply, I’ve been busy in irl stuff and also..Unmotivated lol)

There he was.

“Yup. Heavy enough to be a plane part or Grandma’s cookies. Expecting either?” the Ending asked with a chuckle, walking inside the hangar. Looking the aircraft over, he nodded appreciatively. “Looks like you keep things shipshape around here.”

“Uh-Huh!” then he jumps down from his aircraft then into the ground where he landed with his feet and raised up his full height and looks at Johnathan with a smile. “Been mostly busy.”

Jonathan nodded as the man landed nimbly on the ground. “I’d clap, but my hands are full,” he said with a chuckle. “Busy, huh. Aren’t we all. Well, that’s why we’ve got a delivery system.”

Setting the box on a nearby bench, he pulled a receipt and pen out of his pouch. “Just sign there,” he said, handing them to the Pilot. Looking back up at the plane, he asked, “So what do you carry? Passengers or cargo? Both?”

Pilot grab the pen and started writing down the receipt while looking down at it. “Both.” He said calmly.

Hm. Chatty.

But then, the mercs came from all kinds of backgrounds, did all sorts of secret/not-so-secret things, and had all kinds of personalities. It was one of the things Jonathan loved about this job, so he wouldn’t pry. “Alright.” When the man had finished, the Engineer took back the pen and paper. “You need any help?” he offered. “I’m free this afternoon, and I know a bit about mechanics,” he joked.

Pilot also chuckled by his joke but he also noticed the Mercs arrive as he waved him with a greeting “Kamusta po! I see you guys come back from the fight or something like that?” Then he turned back to Jonathan. “Anyway yeah, just need you to fill up my plane so I can start it up!”. He gave him a thumbs up as he picks up the package and walked up to his said plane. (Yoo long time no see lmao)
