This is a canon-divergent Rain World AU ask blog run by @sleepyyystarsss, where asks can influence character choices and events! It loosely follows the timeline and story of Rain World: Downpour, and some events have been changed or removed entirely.

!! CHARACTERS !!

All characters here are open to asks. Each character will have their own ask tag, ex: #ask; the artificer.

!! STORY SUMMARY !!

* More like important canon events that were removed or changed, and are too inconvenient to explain in an ask.

-> The current story takes place in the time directly before Spearmaster's story in Downpour. (Will change as we move forward in the story)

-> Some characters have name changes. All characters are inspired by canon slugcats.

-> Seven Red Suns did not give Five Pebbles the golden pearl; The Messenger(Spearmaster) has never been to Five Pebbles before.

-> The Watcher in this story is entirely separate from the to-be canon Watcher, with the little canon info being used as inspiration.

The Artificer: Our oldest is well on their way to earning their title.They take after Gourmand in nearly every way, they could even be her successor someday. For now, they're learning to craft.

The Artificer: We're a bit worried about one of our younger pups. They're scared of nearly everything, even creatures that aren't threats. They've clung to me their whole life.

The Artificer: Their sibling is the total opposite, we can barely keep them out of the scavenger treasuries. They'l1 be a big help at scavenger tolls in the future, they have an eye for pearls!

My motivation is very on and off, and I can't force myself to put time and effort into something i’m not interested in. I may be back in a week, or a month, or never. No matter when I come back, it still feels right to let everyone know that I’m not intentionally ignoring this blog.

Rivulet: I live in the wetlands! Theres lots of water and rain over here. But not the 'deadly' rains my parents talk about, whatever that means.

The Watcher: The green bits have no practical use. No Significant Harassment added them to match his overseers.

The Gourmand: We first met at a toll in the garbage wastes, while my group was passing through. She was still living with the Scavenger Tribe, and had never met another slugcat before.

I introduced myself, and we hit it off instantly. We spent all of our time together, before it was time to leave the wastes. I invited her to join us on our journey, and she accepted.

I know it wasn't easy leaving her family, and knowing the Scavengers, they'd probably never forgive her betrayal.

Neither of us would trade anything for the life we've built together, though. Our family means everything to us. Nothing could ever take that away from us.

The Solution: I can't leave. My inability to gain karma keeps me trapped within my creators' facility.

I've been wandering this city since I-- Since my creator passed on.
