Byleth slowly recovers from the shock of seeing his mother. His arms shaikingly move so that he is ale to hug her. “I-it really is you...”

She hugs Byleth as hard as she can- though she is still very frail. “Look at you- all grown up...” She is beaming, and very proud. “How have you been?” 

“I’ve been good...” Byleth holds his mother in a delicate embrace, almost as if he was afraid as if he’ll break her. “How are you here?”

She thinks on that question for a moment, before stepping back from the hug. “I- I don’t know... One minute I wasn’t here and the next... I was.”

Byleth tilts his head to the side as he listened. It wasn’t odd to see others who have died and came back. “Well I’m sure there is an explanation. For now let us go and meet sister and father.”

“Sister...” She hangs on that word a moment. “I... had twins?” If her smile could get any bigger, it would have- both at the prospect of having had two children, and at being able to see Jeralt once again.

“Yes her name is Beles.” Byleth gave a soft smile. They finally are able to reunite as a whole. “Let us go now mother.”

“Ah, yes. Let us go!”

She gasps- and there’s hardly even a fraction of a second before she’s jumped up to hug him around the neck..

“Oh, Jeralt.” Once more, she is beaming. “How have you been? How- how were our children, growing up?”

Sitri breaks from her embrace, gently sliding down to the ground. “What... what happened? Are you injured- have you seen a healer?”

“Oh... my...” She takes a moment to register every word spoken. “B-but you’re fine now?” Her voice is tinged with sadness and worry, and her eyes are growing wider.

“A-alright. I-if you say so.” She says- her voice is wobbling somewhat.

"What does your father look like? Maybe we can look for him together." She reaches for one of the child's hands.

[The child takes her hand] He looks like father...

"Can you describe to me what he looks like? Or tell me his name, perhaps?"

He’s really big. He has cuts on his face, a beard, yellow hair.... He wears orange... The other mercenaries call him Captain...

Sitri narrows her eyes. “That sounds like Jeralt...” She mutters under her breath. “What’s your name, sweetie?” She asks. 

Sitri is still very confused, but she decides she’ll seek out those answers later. For now, she just smiles and says “Well- why don’t we just go ahead and look for your father, alright?”
