Wow, I’ve been really bad at keeping this blog alive. It’s been three quarters of a year since I last posted.

My bad.

Anyways, the fact of the matter is, I’m still looking to become an author. While I do have several novels in the planning stage… any kind of payoff from those is a ways off. And without any writing I can point to and say “Yeah, look, here’s a thing I did,” it’s hard to build a resume.

But this time, I’m offering even more options!

Prices listed below are based on the Editorial Rates published by the Editorial Freelancer’s Association, all prices USD.

Pricing

Fiction:

Non-smut works: 25¢/word

Works containing overt sexual content: 30¢/word

In addition, there will be an extra dollar added per 500 words (rounded to the nearest 500) should you decide you don’t want me to post the story on this blog. This is to make up for the lost exposure. 

So, in the way of an example table…

500 words, no smut, posted: $1.25

500 words, smut, not posted: $2.50

1000 words, no smut, posted: $2.50

1000 words, smut, posted: $5

3000 words, no smut, posted: $7.50

3000 words, smut, posted, $13.50

Further more, stories written by me are not to be used elsewhere without permission. This may change in the future, but in the meantime, one must ask before cross posting to another platform.

Ghostwriting:

But I don’t just do fiction! Need a post for your non-Tumblr blog? Or an article, or something of that nature? Perhaps a simple description to put up on your website, or a newsletter. Anything that needs written and isn’t storytelling falls under this category! Especially if you want to post it on your own website

SFW subject matters: 40¢/word

NSFW subject matters: Subject to negotiation

Additionally, there’s no charge for me not posting the content on this blog. I would appreciate being allowed to post a link, but it’s not required.

Articles requiring research are subject to an additional $40/hr for the research done. Time taken to write the article itself will not be counted towards research time.

Editing:

Again, no charge for me keeping the content off of this blog. Note that more intensive editing will be slower, but far more detailed.

Proofreading: $25/hr

Basic copyediting: $30/hr

Heavy copyediting: $40/hr

Fact checking (where possible): $30/hr

What will I write?

I’m willing to write (fiction edition):

Original stories to your specification

That means if you have an original setting, an original character, or anything else, I’ll write it, as long as I have enough info to make it work

Fanfiction

Slightly limited, in that if I’m unfamiliar with a fandom, I probably won’t be able to write for it. Take, for instance, Destiny. I know it exists, but I would be clueless if asked to write fanfiction for it.

Fluff

Angst

Crack

Action

Violence

Mystery

NSFW

If there’s a genre, I can almost certainly make it happen.

Just about anything. But, of course, I need to know what you want! Send me a message, and we’ll talk about it.

Any story work that doesn’t conflict with the What won’t I write section below

What won’t I write?

I will not, under any circumstances, write the following:

Incest

Non-con/dub-con

Gore

Intense kinks

etc

I reserve the right to turn down any request.
