Uh can I perhaps ask why people are... Trigger tagging this post? IDK man the idea of people being somehow triggered or offended by the mere mention of psychosis and the words suicide and addiction doesn't... sit very well with me. Greetings. You may call me the Mapmaker. I have been on a mission to gather information on all the currently known timelines and their residents. I hope you would not mind answering a few questions to aid me in my research.

Interview: The World Machine

How long has it been since you sent the Lightbringer, Niko, from your timeline home? How has your world changed since then?

I think it's been two months? Sounds correct enough. I haven't made as many uh- of the squares. Residents of the world have been happier too. Sun is back, squares gone for the most part.

Sometimes the "god", the operator or whoever logs on sometimes. Asks to replay Niko's adventures, and who am I to say no? With all I did, all I've done? I can give them that.

I see. So you were only recently tamed.

Outside of those replays, have you interacted with any of the Characters of your world?

No, I haven't. I've kept my very existence on the down-low. I at least have not personally interacted with any. I've done small things, change the location of one of Silver's chess pieces, refill a coffee machine. Simple, hardly noticeable stuff.

If I may ask, why do you choose to make these subtle changes?

It's... interesting to see their reactions. Sometimes they'll notice, sometimes they won't. It lets me make an impact on their lives without them knowing I'm there I guess.

What is your relationship with your siblings like?

I haven't spoken to them much. I'm not sure if it's out of fear or habit. I had an interaction with Rue. Apologized for... a lot.

What exactly is it that you fear that keeps you from taking to them much?
