The Lady Aristocrat

Once upon a time, I was a human woman who was in love with a human man. Our level of infatuation with each other was disgusting. In fact, we were set to marry until I met a rather unfortunate end four months before the ceremony was to take place.

As is per human nature, he was overcome with grief. It is when a human is in such a weak, emotional state that demons like to offer a sort of hope. 

When asked by the demon what would ease his suffering, he simply answered, “I want you to bring me back my love.” 

“There is a toll for my services,” the demon replied.

“If you can bring her back, then I’ll pay whatever the price!”

The deal was made. Of course, he never told the demon he wanted me back as a human. Or really any other parameters besides “to bring me back”. Why I loved such a foolish human? I only wish I could remember. What happened to him? Only the contracted demon knows that. I can only provide an educated guess but one thing I can share with you is the rise I get from this past of mine. Thanks to him, I am now a succubus whose sole existence relies upon the seduction of men.
