((So, my friend Jason and I were talking on Facebook about Teen Titans and the last episode and he came up with a great theory.

The form-changing monster is symbolism for change. The way it can change into anything it wants to represents the constant motion of life that has to go on with everyone, including superheroes.

The reason why Beast Boy doesn't go with the team is because he doesn't want change; he wants Terra. He's stuck in the past, crazy about something that he can't control. This is why the episode is called Things Change. The girl he knew is just a memory now, which is why he goes back to the team at the end of the episode, showing his acceptance of how things must constantly go forward.))
