It was another beautiful day on Bird Island, when a boat came up to the shore. Nothing too big or fancy, just a regular boat big enough for two and some food. However there was only one on board and the rest of it was filled with non perishable food. It was a yellow female squirrel. She carefully stepped out onto the sand and carefully pushed the boat higher up onto the shore to keep it from floating away.
Bomb was just minding his own business, walking alongside his home and sheepishly saying hi to anyone who said hi to him and he knew. It had been a rather slow day and his other two friends were off doing their favorite activities on their own (Chuck was running around and messing with the police and Red was moping and hating life back home). Bomb kept wondering around like he always liked to do, a regular boat with a not at all regular guest capturing his attention. What animal even was that? Because that was clearly not a bird.Â
âItâs okay. I can understand your confusion. My nameâs Andy. Iâm a squirrel. A squirrel is part of the rodent family.â She carefully took the feather back. âThanks again. It was really nice of Mighty Eagle to let me have one of his feathers.â
âA...a swirl, no, wait, squirrel! That sounds pretty good. Nice to meet you, Andy. My name is Bomb.â He takes a good look at her. âYour feathers look so...shiny and soft, and not ruffled at all...Theyâre feathers, right?â He asked curiously, though his attention from Andyâs species immediately left at the mention of Mighty Eagle. He tuned out for a while because of it, but when he was back, he gave a big grin. âWait a second, I knew that feather looked familiar!! I know Mighty too! Heâs as powerful and brave as a hero can be!â He said in a bright and clearly fanboyish tone.Â
