very clumsy when regressed, often spilling things and falling over . requires a kiss on every wound .

no matter her age , she is more of an older sister type to to others who regress around her .

would love to keep to herself when regressed , but coiny / babysitters do their best to make sure she isn't because of how clumsy she is .

experiences emotions a lot stronger than the general kid , anger is always rage , sadness is always a crying fit etc .

a brat . will scream and cry if she doesn't get her way , even if to anyone big , her requests / demands aren't understandable

first , i would suggest that if you already rarely brush , do not try to immediately jump to two minutes twice a day . it is a difficult expectation to set . instead , lets say you only brush once a week . try getting it up to twice a week . then three times . then five times , so on . take it slow , something is better than nothing .

i personally went from maybe once a week , to every five days , to every three days , to every night , and now im working on building the every morning habit . i slip up often or avoid it , and that's ok . all that matters is that you try your best !

if the act of brushing your teeth is hard for reasons other than motivation , here are some fixes i can suggest : buying flavored or kids toothpaste to avoid strong mint flavor , investing in a soft toothbrush with a high bristle count , brushing dry ( which yes , is better than not brushing at all ) .

do not stress yourself with flossing or mouthwash if that makes things worse . simply brushing is enough , only add the rest if you can !

some other brushing alternatives to build yourself up to more regular care is using mouthwash ( which you can buy kids / fun flavors to avoid more overwhelming tastes ) , chewable toothbrushes , using flossers even when you can't brush , even something as small as a water rinse is good progress .

electrical brushes and flossers are a great help , so are those 360 toothbrushes ( so ive heard , at least ! ) .

a good brushing tip my dentist has given is avoiding rinsing after brushing , as it allows the good stuff from toothpaste to remain on your teeth and protect them a little longer .

my personal favorite : a simply drawn timer with a visual guide on where to brush , as well as some nice music and a reminder to clean my tongue :D

sonic movies themed : i find this one mildly overwhelming at times , mainly just because i brush my teeth when i'm already tired .. but this includes a sonic movie theme with clips in the background , a visual guide on where to brush , upbeat music , and 'interactive' foam that clears as you brush !

daniel tiger song timer : no visual guide , but a fun engaging song and fun visuals . i am a little biased , i love this show .

a simple two minute timer : it is just one of those classroom timers , with the numbers big on screen and silence until the timer is up . a good option if you simply need to make sure you clean long enough !
