WIP 🔪🩸
New self-portrait for the new year! My style has undergone some drastic changes since November 2020, which is the last time I drew one (I also broke from color scheme tradition, which I think was a good call).

Drawing OCs again! @phantomzanna and I are developing a character group that hasn’t had any real love in at least five years and I started on my side with my main girl for this setting, my druid, Rosemary.

Happy (belated) World Diabetes Day! This is my fourteenth year with t1d and insulin accessibility is a cause very close to my heart and all aspects of my life with diabetes.
This year, I’m asking for charitable donations to Open Insulin Foundation, an incredible, community-focused non-profit organization working to give communities all over the world the means to produce affordable insulin. You can read more about what they do HERE.
My fundraising page is HERE. I do have a couple of rewards available for certain donation amounts, but anything you are able to share is much appreciated!
This illustration is, in part, based on an older illustration of mine (way back in 2017, when I first started using Illustrator for most of my work). I tried to squeeze in as many “Easter eggs” as I could - a couple of insulin pumps, a CGM, lavender for eating disorder awareness and recovery, a diabetes tattoo, a medical alert bracelet, nails painted like the disability pride flag, and, of course, lots and lots of blue.
Happy Halloween! My friend and I greeted trick-or-treaters here dressed as Valkyrie Cain and Melancholia St Clair. I hope that everyone had a fun day wherever you may be. 🎃

2021 Commission Rates
Hi everyone! Here are my updated flat rate commission prices. I only have three options listed here in order to streamline things a little bit. As always, PayPal payment is due in two installments: 50% before work begins, the other 50% when I send you a low-res image of the finished work for your approval. After I receive the second payment, I’ll forward you the high resolution final drawing in any file format you’d like.
Just a reminder that these are NOT my commercial rates - any work you commission from me at these price points is for personal use only, and I will ask that you sign a contract acknowledging this before I begin work. See below the cut at the end of this post for more information on what I will and will not draw.

Square and Bust Portraits - $40
Vector portrait of a single character. Can be square format or from the shoulders up. Price includes a simple background or additional design elements, texture where applicable, and rendering at the level pictured above.
Character Bust Sheets - $60 - $70
A trio of fully rendered vector character busts shown in front facing, 3/4, and profile views. Can include alternate expressions and hairstyles, as well as simple outfit changes from the shoulders up. Second image is an incomplete set, included as an example of the variation possible at this price tier. Background can be solid color or simply patterned. This tier starts at $60 and is subject to an increase of up to $10 depending on complexity of character design.
Vector Illustration - $100 - $140
Fully rendered vector illustration featuring one or more characters and/or a fleshed out background. Work at this tier starts at $100 but can vary up to $40 based on a multitude of factors, so a detailed project description is required up front (visual aids are appreciated).
2020 in finished art! It was a difficult year for both drawing and also for completing work, but I did manage to finish a piece (or multiple pieces) eight months out of twelve this time around! I’ve definitely found my new happy place with rendering in AI, and I think the turning point is evident from May-onward.
Some common themes: lots of character reference art this year! In fact, new character sheets comprise most of my finished work in 2020. I have several others that I’ve never posted here just because I’ve tried to vary my content as much as possible in 2020. There’s no shortage of Skulduggery Pleasant fanart in the first half of the year, either, and I’ll probably be back in that hole when book 14 comes out. We’ll deal with that in April 2021!
