the queen of faerie britain, tyrant and despot ruler, one who went to extreme lengths to ensure the land she loved survived even when she no longer held any love for the cruel creatures that inhabited it

originally was known as aesc the rain witch, the first faerie born that was destined to be the saviour. kind but headstrong, determined and competitive, but believed that she could achieve her destiny and save the faeries with her companions

yeah that did NOT go according to plan

the nature of faeries are cruel and fickle. no matter what she did, she kept failing, killed by the very people she was trying to save in numerous cruel ways, blamed for everything that went wrong and treated with hatred. but she tried again and again and again, over and over and over no matter how many times she failed until eventually, she reached the point where she realized that nothing will change and nothing can save the land except for cruelty

took on the memories of pan-human history's morgan when she was originally summoned into the lostbelt, using that knowledge and taking on her name when starting her rule as the tyrant many came to know her as

despite being a berserker, she's quite sound of mind! she is willing to endure what she despises if it means keeping what she cares for from spiraling out of control

hates bugs. LOATHES them absolutely despises them, she will rather burn down a whole forest than fight any sort of bug creatures

but she's not as distanced and cold as before, having both changed over time and thanks to the adventures within that summer singularity. aka she's more at ease!

not her first stint in spirale and she's been around the block a few times event wise as well

NONVERBAL PROMPTS – accepting

[ BLANKET ]: sender drapes a blanket over receiver's shoulders.

it's colder here, higher up in the clouds. during the day it's a pleasant between but at night, the temperature drops, particularly when it rains. she's reminded of those countless nights spent in the castle as rain fell upon the land– pouring over tomes long into early morning hours, practicing her magecraft, asking her mother for how best to go about this tactic or that. those were far, far simpler times. thousands of years have passed since she was just Aesc, but the memories have never faded.

something to outweigh the failures that lingered in the back of her mind.

deep in thought, she hardly registers the extra weight around her shoulders until she turns her head and sees a familiar face take a seat next to her. the rain continued to fall endlessly, pattering away on the balcony's rooftop. the berserker reaches her hand out, letting the raindrops splash against her skin. the thunder echoes in the distance, clouds as overcast as Londinium on that fateful day. here, it would be nothing to halt the rain over her home......but she lets it continue, unimpeded, the only sound being the water and the ever so quiet creak of the chains from the chair swing.

it's a peacefulness she never expected to reach. certainly not with the girl who was born to continue where she failed. but none of that really matters here, does it?

okay now that i have her back in!

almost had the berserker and her avenger companion taken down the last glitched of the group that crossed their path, but that was the key-word here: almost. no sooner was it cornered did morgan hear her phone go off and she could only make out the words 'hoard – five-block radius' before the thing in front of them screamed and all hell broke loose.

as a Servant, these glitched should have been no problem. however, despite given free-reign by the stars, their abilities were weakening and two against at least a thousand or more? it was as if the game was rigged from the start. gone was the self-promise to avoid lethal actions– order needed to be maintained and if death was the only course, then so be it. her staff cuts clean through the many that surrounded her, blood (both the glitched and her own) sprinkling droplets upon the street below them as bodies fall to the ground. how easy it would be to clear some of this away with her noble phantasm but she must be careful– Morgan has heard reports of that, once weakened, powers were practically gone and someone rendered human entirely on that front.

the blade of her black sword slices off a clawed hand that dared to grab her, and as she turns on her heel, she spots the Count in an equally as difficult situation as her. the only difference being that now a handful of animal creatures have made their way into the hoard and one the size of a car was preparing to launch from the behind. growling softly, Morgan calls down a torrent of magic, scattering the glitched that refused to give her space to move.

a few seconds is all it gave her, but it was enough. eyes close as she casts her magic on the avenger, an impenetrable shield forming around him at the last second. a resounding clang echoes out as the creature collides full force into it, causing it to fly back and take down a handful of the glitched along with it. " Keep your eyes open, Avenger. "

"....how troublesome." and there she was enjoying some reading, only to now find herself spirited away to the city below. eyes glance down to her size, where her canine companion sits– alert and unsettled.

besides, unless Morgan herself commanded it, Millie harmed nothing.

" Has your time here dulled your reflexes? I'd expect more from a Beast." or former, in this case.

" Begone. "

a flick of her wrist as a small maelstrom of magic is sent out before her, ensaring the pixies and sending them tumbling away from the form of a trembling girl. high-pitched squeals echo as they flee in terror. Morgan's footsteps are almost silent in the snow as she approaches the stranger, her gaze focused on the area off to the side. " Annoying creatures, but don't be afraid to be firm with them." a token of advice as she waits for the other to recover and stand.

perhaps too firmly but that's a topic for a different time.

the book in her lap is closed shut slowly, eyes lifting to meet the gaze of the one standing before her. the snow continues to fall gently around them and the cold of winter isn't as biting as before. " Did Charlie tell you to come find me? Or was this of your own volition?"
