It feels so good to be back on track! Usually, running is my alone time, my thinking time. It’s my escape to get away from the distractions of life, though yes, back in my hometown I would really go for a hike or climb, and my favorite spot or place or destination back there was the Mayong Payong mountain peak park, which is a 2-mile point-to-point trail that would really get me exhausted in the middle of the trail, not even a half to the trail I must climb. So once you really get to peak of it, the feeling is just as satisfying as having an ice cream after a mental breakdown. and earlier having well, I would say that it's just a walkathon with my sister as we were walking to the place where we are planning to start a fun run because we were pretty certain that there will be a bunch of runners also since it is a very good place to have done such thing. And when we reach the site which is UP Diliman campus, we were delighted because there are so many people also running and seemed to have the same goals as we have before going there, right away we started our task but first did a warm-up for 5 mins and go along with the flow of people that at least felt like we are really having a fun run. There are no muscle aches after (well so far?), just my body feeling just a little exhausted. I realized I did not drink enough water throughout the run, so I had to replenish my body with fluids once we get back home. I felt that familiar feeling of dehydration throughout the day, which is bad I know, so I drank water as much as I could.
