I feel like I could literally do photography forever... just so much about it excites me and puts me in flow and literally keeps me going for hours and I never want it end. Don’t get me wrong, there are still times when I am feeling low. And it’s that mix of highs and lows that keeps the journey so interesting and thrilling. I see it as a dance. When you’re moving with a partner, you’re never fully in control. You move your feet to keep from falling over, but the other half of it is trusting and feeling where your partner is guiding you. I thank God for being the greatest partner and guide in my life. I am not like most photographers because I don’t encourage my couples to do a first look. I believe in sharing the first moment you see each other with your friends and family and inviting them into the emotion, passion, and thrill that is your love. They deserve to be part of the tears, the laughter, the ugly sniffles, because it truly is a beautiful thing to witness and feel right along with the couple.
