Right. If you’re good at something, why not pursue it? Especially if it’s as cool and beneficial as grifting. Out of the ordinary, but then that’s kind of why we’re all here. Yeah, it’s my speciality, actually.

Grifting's totally beneficial. I mean, you know, if sex and money are the kinds of things you consider beneficial. Nice.. so you kinda pull the whole piranha in a fish tank, kinda thing?

Makes sense. Sounds like you really study up for this stuff when it comes to grifting. Then again, I would be the exact same when it comes to escapism. If it wasn’t for dedication, this whole thing probably would’ve fallen apart.

You gotta if you're going to be playing a completely different person. It's touch but you know, it's the only thing I've known, so might as well do it, am I right? Wait, you're into escapism?

The more you talk about the dark side of that the less interested I become in it… I don’t think I could ever be that serious. I can be serious.. But not for prolonged period of time. It’d take too much out of me. 

You learn to control it in a way, like if you play the character long enough eventually the lines start to blur and soon you think of two reactions, not just yours and yours alone. If you can past the creepy and darker aspects of it, it's actually a lot of fun.

Huh, I thought they looked pretty nice. But fair enough, especially when you’re about to grift. I guess we’re all in prep mode, too. 

I love them, don't get me wrong. But playing the socialite whore who likes rich men and expensive whiskey doesn't have side braids and blonde streaks. She has tattoos, but yeah.

The fact that this is going to happen is beginning to dawn on me. We’re going to be drawing crowds after this. And I’m not sure how I feel about it.

I’ve always wanted to try being something else, I think I’d be good at it. But I don’t think I could change too much… I might dye my hair pink though. Bringing it up makes me wanna do it.

It's something else, it's someone, else. A completely different person; ideals, job, thought process. It looks easy but never really is. Sometimes you get caught up in what you're playing and can't tell where you begin and the other ends. More times then not, you end up losing yourself, which is where sex comes in handy, since you know, best way to find yourself and lose yourself is another person.

I haven’t dyed my hair since I put the red streaks in, but I don’t think I’ll be changing them any time soon. Not unless you all beg me and it’s for a reason.

I usually change something about myself for a grift, hair, tattoo, piercing. Just to help with the transition into being someone else.

If you need any help don’t ask me because it’ll probably end up pink. In fact, I had a trick for that, but the first time I tried it on one of my friends she was no longer my friend..

Ha, thanks but I'm fine. Not the first time I've dyed my hair, won't be the last. Grifting is such a blessing and curse sometimes, I swear.

Why’re you dying it?

Cause I got sick of the blonde streaks. Plus I'm in prep mode for the grift. I always change something when I do that.

You know what, we don’t have time to argue over this. You have things to prepare and I have things to plan. Just go alone    I don’t want to go to prison so early on. There will be time for prison later.

Seems easy enough. Nothing out of the way we usually work, so it should all go off without a hitch. Of course, we’ll have to get the whole planning process out of the way sooner rather than later.

In theory it should, then again, things like that haven't ever been attempted on this scale, so. I'm not getting my hopes up. No use getting cocky before anything happens.

So you don’t want him to care? Fine, if you really think flying solo’s going to be best, then do it by yourself. But sooner or later, you’re going to have to work with us. We’re a team.

Jesus, Theo, it's not the best for the job but... but it's best for me, okay? When I grift I'm completely different. Ash doesn't exisit. If Archer's there, she will and then.. then we all end up in prison. And for me, well, it's a matter of who makes a more attractive off to the authorites, since you know, I'm wanted in five different countries.
