Lelouch stared at her for a moment, then sighed. He bent and snatched the few fallen sheets of paper off the floor. What had he been thinking joining the student council? It was like running the Black Knights all over them… except a lot more paperwork and a lot less Knightmare fighting.
With a huff, Lelouch fell into his chair and crossed one long leg over the other. He started shuffling through the papers.
"Thank you Lelouch." Milly says sweetly, her warm, friendly smile returning to her face. "You're a life saver."
Moving around the student council room, Milly perched herself on the edge of the table opposite Lelouch. "Where have you been anyway the past few days? I know Shirley has been worried sick about you. You should go talk to her when you get the chance."
It was a well known fact throughout the school that Shirley was head over heels in love with Lelouch. A fact that everybody could see except Lelouch himself. One of the best in school and still can't see what's staring him straight in the face. She thinks to herself a she considers this fact.
