Hypothetically speaking, lets say I have a friend who is a dom, but they are tired of doming and being in charge, and don't get me wrong, they love it and are told that they're good at it, but they get tired of deciding things and want to sub too. What should this person do?

What you need to do, darling, is find someone that will let you let go of that responsibility. Just because the Dom shortage is very real doesn't mean that you can't also enjoy yourself as a submissive. You aren't obligated to lock yourself into a role and never sway out of it. Just because you sub sometimes doesn't make you a 'weak' domme, and you should be able to enjoy it.
It's tiring, sweetie, I understand that. Find someone you trust and ask them to do you. Start slowly if you're unsure. Value your own pleasure.
