☯︎ He’s a flip for sure! He started off as a hesitant CG for Joe, then slowly started regressing himself! He’s always embraced it though! Never tried to push it away or anything. I see his age range as 1-3! Just a big old baby. I think he wants to regress older so he can play with the others but in reality he just wants to curl up and relax… But when he’s feeling left out there’s always someone there ready to shift and carry him on their back!
☯︎ Definitely did not know about agere before the Bennett’s. Like not even like he did it but didn’t know. He had no connection to it. But then the Bennett’s came in and changed everything. Within the pack I regression was normalized, so Ox was instantly surrounded by it and fascinated by the comfort it brought everyone. For awhile he just helped watching over the littles, but it wasn’t too long before he wanted to try it for himself!
☯︎ Ok there’s the build up… HC time!! As a CG his main little is Joe, but Robbie also relies on him a lot! Kelly was pretty reliant on Ox when Robbie was under Livingstone’s control. Gavin has also always had a special bond with him! This may seem like a lot of people but. Also. He’s the pack alpha. And!! I just think it’s a very pack experience. It’s rarely just one person relying on one person. They all trust each other, and it’s pretty equal
☯︎ When he’s regressed! His main CG is obviously Joe. That’s his mate. But I also think he really likes being with Elizabeth… a that’s his mom. Obviously his own Mom while she was alive, but he didn’t get as much time with her as he wanted… I don’t think he told her about his regression until he was also telling her about the pack in general. While he was alive also! Thomas! I don’t care that’s he made a bunch of awful mistakes. Ox has always trusted him. That’s his dad. Oh also Gordo! Just quiet, gentler CG’s
☯︎ Overall his role as a CG is still the alpha, it’s like wrangling in the pups. When someone regresses Ox is usually one of the first ones they go to tell, just so he can keep track of things! He’s also the first to feel the shift in the pack bonds and he’ll make sure no one’s ever alone while they’re left tiny. He’s good at delegating the task of being a CG though! He tries to pass littles off so he’s available if anyone needs him specifically, he needs to prioritize each of his pack based on their needs not based on when they get to him
☯︎ Always encourages littles to play together! Obviously he understands that isn’t always smart. For example Robbie and Rico get into bag fights sometimes. Sometimes Gavin gets overwhelmed by people. Sometimes Joe can’t stand to be around anyone other than immediate family, Bennett’s by blood. He’s understanding, but he always tries to push everyone closer when he can
☯︎ Ok so this little detail is very important to me… While regressed Ox usually stays in human form. When he was a kid he wasn’t a werewolf yet, so it just doesn’t come very naturally to him. However he is sometimes found in wolf form for snuggles! The soft fur is really comfy. He can be coaxed to shift! Usually by the Bennett brothers. Ok it’s mainly Carter. But he’s willing to! He just doesn’t really feel the need to, human form feels better to him!
☯︎ The Mama’s boy ever actually. It’s why he’s so close with Elizabeth. Really likes just watching her paint, he finds it really soothing. He’s also definitely slipped up and called Joe some form of mom before. Joe was bewildered, but didn’t really mind????? Carter teases him about it to this day and Joe doesn’t even care because that’s his baby. If that’s what his baby wants to call him that’s fine
⚡︎ JOE MY BABYYY. First character I obsessed over so special to me. I think for most of his life he was only a regressor. With all the stress in his life he couldn’t possible take care of someone else so completely, he did still babysit though! Just not a full time CG. But after the alpha was taken away from him, a lot of the stress was gone. He was able to focus on others enough to take care of them. When he regresses his age range is 3-7. Before the time he was taken, but still big enough to be energetic!
⚡︎ Starting with him as a regressor! And which CG’s he’d rely on more. Ox. Obviously. He needs Ox. He’ll get jealous over anyone else with Ox and he’ll sob if they’re separated. His brothers! Preferably both of them at the same time. He just needs the bond of his brothers… And Elizabeth! That’s his mom. He needs his mom. Though with her it’s more so about her seeing him, maybe hanging out with her when he’s upset. But usually he’s energetic and Elizabeth prefers to sit still when she can
⚡︎ Joe as a CG! Again anyone can come to him, but… Not many actively seek him out. Ox does! But no one else really. His brothers will regress with him, but rarely go to him if they’re regressed and he isn’t. They feel the need to protect him. Joe was the alpha yes, but I don’t feel like he had a specifically protecting relationship with many?
⚡︎ OK OK. I think that when he regresses he tends to end up nonverbal, like after he was taken. Sometimes he can talk! And when he can it’s like that first time he met Ox, the words tumbling out of his mouth like they’ll never stop. But a lot of the time he feels stuck. No matter how much he wants to communicate. He just… Can’t. He’ll try to communicate through the bonds but there’s only so much he can do there
⚡︎ Reallyyy bad attachment issues. Usually he’s attached to Ox, but sometimes it’s his brothers, or his mother. He just needs someone. And That someone must be with him 24/7. They can’t set him down or leave his side. God forbid they leave his sight… He sleeps with Ox obviously, if he happens to wake up regressed and Ox isn’t there? It’s a problem. He’s almost instantly in a full blown panic attack
⚡︎ He’s very clingy! However NO ONE can touch him first. He needs to initiate any kind of touch, consent is mandatory no matter how small it seems. I think hand holding is especially vulnerable for him. Letting someone so close to his fingers… He still remembers the pain of having them broken just to make him scream. He’s hesitant to intertwine fingers with anyone, preferring to hold hands at a more stiff angle. But if he does? Ough he’s holding on so tight…
⚡︎ Really likes to regress with his brothers! They’re so protective of him and he feels so safe. Whether they’re regressed or not, those are his brothers and he loves them so much. I think Carter especially makes him feel safe. Setting Joe on his back and parading him around, he will NOT let Joe fall, no matter what. And Kelly helps him feel loved! Kelly reminds him to take his time, that they’re there for him, how much they love him. And how can he not feel loved?
⚡︎ So much energy… This is the little kid that Ox first met. The little hurricane? That’s him. He’s really good at climbing people. Mainly in human form? But he will tackle someone in wolf form too! Just a silly pup… I think he shifts forms pretty easily. No real preference? It feels very fluid for him. He’ll shift mid movement and not really worry about it. This ends up ripping. So many clothes. He does not care, but like don’t let him wear any of his favorite clothes-
⛉ A flip for sure! I think he’s one of the oldest regressors though. I think his age range is like 9-14? Reliving the last few good years of his life before he was abandoned. I think his teen and preteen years mean a lot for him, they really shaped him in a lot of ways and I think those were some of the best years of his life. Also I can’t see him benefitting from the vulnerability of regressing much younger, I think it would just make him feel really uncomfortable a lot of the time
⛉ As a regressor he doesn’t really have CG’s? He regresses old enough he doesn’t really need one. But he’s still encouraged to be around someone in case he needs them or something happens. His usual go-to’s are his childhood friends! This includes Mark, Rico, Chris, and Tanner. However! I think he’s really connected to the Bennett brothers from the three years they were all together, he’ll go to them a lot too! Especially Carter. I like their relationship
⛉ As a CG! I obviously see Mark relying on him, that’s his mate. The Bennett brothers too! Again. I love the bond they all have with each other… They’re all so special to me. Also! Robbie!!!! I loooove love love his relationship with Robbie, and I think while he’s regressed Gordo is one of the first people Robbie thinks about to go to
⛉ Really good with calmer little’s! Ox and Robbie, sometimes Mark. He can still play with more energetic kids! For example the Bennett brothers all love to tackle him and play wrestle. But idk I don’t see him enjoying that as much. He just wants to take a calmer kiddo to his garage and let them watch him fix cars! Which… Has issues considering his method. Which I’ll get into right up next!
⛉ Alright. Gordo is. 100%. Regressed or big. The packs resident pottymouth. This isn’t a huge issue? No one really cares. But he’s definitely still scolded for it, no one wants to encourage the swearing. If a little one is swearing they almost definitely heard it from Gordo. While regressed he’ll get annoyed and curse out those in an adult headspace. As a CG he just doesn’t stop his usual swearing around littles. Especially if they come with him to the garage where a large part of his car fixing method is “swear at it”
⛉ I mentioned he’s good for calmer littles, but also just if anyone’s overwhelmed! He’ll get snacks and lock the door to his office ensuring no one will bother them. If a little one feels paranoid or unsafe he can even get the silver out, form them a protective barrier so no big bad wolves can come in and get them. Obviously this doesn’t cover all threats, humans and witches can still do harm, but it helps them feel safer. He’s also of course very quick to brag about the pack! How they’ll keep the little one safe no matter what
⛉ I think he struggles with his missing hand a lot while he’s regressed. The phantom sensation is almost always there, and he gets really frustrated with it. Obviously he doesn’t let that stop him! But sometimes he will need to step away from a situation because he’s getting frustrated and feels useless. A good way to cheer him up is a CG stepping behind him and using their arms like his arms? It sounds stupid, and it is as he’ll grumpily inform them. However it also makes him smile. And that’s all that really matters at the end of the day
⛉ If he is regressed and upset! Which can happen a lot. The best thing to do is let him be! Give him space, don’t suffocate him, he’ll work through it and come back whenever he’s ready. However above all else do NOT let him near other regressor. He will lash out like there’s no tomorrow and say things he’ll never be able to make up for. Everyone in this pack has made mistakes, they know that and they live with that. Gordo will bring those things up for the sole purpose of making someone feel bad though, and that’s not healthy. Being scolded just upsets him more, again, he just needs space
⛉ I love the idea of him regressing around Gavin! Gavin has a really wide age range though, while Gavin is in his older range think Gordo is kinda. Stand-off ish with him? Doesn’t really include him with any other friends and activities, refuses to call Gavin his brother, all that angsty teen stuff. However if Gavin is in his younger ages? Hi yes. That’s his baby brother. No you can not hold him. Actually. Don’t even look at him. If anyone questions the fierce protectiveness Gordo claims it’s just an obligation, but he has the sweetest little smiles when he’s looking at baby Gavin. Mark goes crazy cooing over the soft smiles btw, which usually ends the sweet moment because Gordo will start cursing him out
⛉ Do not give him any Raven themed regression gear. It may seem like a cute idea to match with the tattoo he once had? But it’s not. Even when he still had the tattoo. Before he knew the tattoos purpose it made him think of his father, which just upset him. But now that he knows why it was truly there, what it means, it just makes him even more upset. He doesn’t trust ravens anymore. He can’t. So raven themed gear is like the worst idea ever
ꨄ︎ Mark is a flip! I do think he has a CG lean though. As a regressor I can see him in the 7-10 age range! He’s a relatively big kid! I think he tries to mimic Gordo’s age range, his entire view of his regression is wanting to match Gordo honestly. Obviously that doesn’t work out perfect, he’s always trying to feel older so they can match, but it doesn’t work like that. He just wants to relive the childhood years he had with his mate!
ꨄ︎ When Mark is regressed he ONLY wants to be around those from his generation. This mostly just means Gordo and Elizabeth, but Rico Tanner and Chris are accepted to! (Though that causes its own issues at times…) He absolutely loved regressing around Thomas when he was still alive. He was never that trusting with Richard though, even before he went bad. If any of the younger kids (They’ll always be kids in his eyes) see him while he’s regressed he won’t object or anything? It just feels uncomfortable. He’ll tense up and become way less expressive
ꨄ︎ Rico Tanner and Chris… It’s a very touch and go relationship? Because on one hand, he dislikes how much they hog Gordo’s attention, and that jealousy can make him feel really gross a lot of the time. However! Sometimes when they offer to include him in their group it just makes him SO happy. Literally he’ll just look like a puppy wagging their tail. He has actually been caught swaying his butt as if his tail was wagging before and was teased about it, but eventually as the other three ended up werewolves they picked up the habit, and you can’t be a hypocrite in this pack or your life will be miserable
ꨄ︎ As a CG! I can see the Bennett brothers coming to him? Also. On occasion Rico and Gavin will come to him! Is said occasion that Gordo is busy/upset? Maybe. But they still choose to go to Mark in that situation! I can’t really see Gordo wanting to go to Mark while he’s regressed? Mark is a little smothering with his love sometimes, and pre teen Gordo does NOT want to deal with that
ꨄ︎ I think he feels more comfortable in wolf form while he’s regressed, just getting to be a little pup and not worry about anything. However he rarely. Lets himself? He wants to relive the parts of his childhood with Gordo, those were his favorite parts, and they can interact better if he’s human! He just wants to fit in, be normal. However when he regresses with Elizabeth or Thomas it is usually just him in wolf form. Gordo’s aware he does this? And is aware it could be a problem. But he doesn’t really interfere
ꨄ︎ Related note, he also likes being in wolf form when he’s a CG- As a CG he kinda just lets it happen though, kiddos are usually happy to ride around on his back or tug at his ears and wrestle. He’s more than willing to switch to human form to perform any necessary tasks, he just prefers the closeness and comfort of his shifted form. It can also help the little settle into one form! Helpful for those who shift a lot while regressed, cough cough JOE
ꨄ︎ Contrary to Gordo I can see Mark LOVING Raven themed gear! It makes him think of Gordo and he loves it. That’s literally his mating mark! It means so much to him. He keeps the themed gear to a minimum for Gordo’s sake but he definitely has a well loved plushy (Which may or may not be a dog toy so he can chew on it), and probably a black blanket. Which isn’t directly raven related? But that is why he chose it so it counts for me
❦︎ ROBBIE MY BABYYY. Flip with a regressor lean for sure. I grant him the age range of 1-5, truly just reliving the good parts of his life. When he was 6 everything went bad and wrong, things weren’t good for a very long time after that. He doesn’t want to relive those moments. So he stays 5 and below! He can occasionally be a caregiver? I mean we’ve seen him be great with pups. But I feel like he’d easily get overwhelmed and scared of messing up. Better to just keep him as a babysitter for the most part!
❦︎ As a regressor! Obviously he mainly relies on Kelly. That’s his mate. But he also relies on Ox a lot! That’s his alpha. Plus his little crush he had on Ox… Overall he’s definitely drawn to Ox! Another big one he relies on is Gordo. Probably my favorite CG for Robbie honestly. I just love their dynamic augh. I can also see him really enjoying being around Elizabeth! This boy NEEDS a Mama figure in his life. He’s absolutely called Kelly Mama before and was humiliated afterwards. Please give him time with Elizabeth he needs it
❦︎ Andddd as a CG/Babysitter! There’s the obvious, Kelly. Kelly is the only one Robbie looks after as a full time CG! The only one he’s comfortable looking after on his own. So no one else really relies on him! However he really likes sticking around Elizabeth and Ox when they’re watching a little and helping them out! Obviously he’s open to looking after anyone, but those are the two he gravitates towards helping the most. And Joe? But that’s more so out of a feeling of obligation rather than just wanting to. That’s still his alpha, he needs to help
❦︎ I think Robbie mostly likes to be in human form when he regresses! He’s very reliant on comfort items, and he can better use things if he’s in a human body! He’s alright with the idea of shifting, he’s not against it or anything? He just rarely wants to without any input pushing him to. When he gets overwhelmed or scared however he will shift so he can run away faster. If he gets overwhelmed he’s running as fast as he can and he’s hiding quiet as a mouse
❦︎ This boy gets SO attached to things let me tell you. His comfort items mean the world to him and he can’t get through the day without them. We can actively see this in his canon behavior! His glasses? Kelly’s wolf? He doesn’t go anywhere without them. Literally brainwashed to forget his mate but still kept his wolf. I think everyone has given him some toy or something over time that he now cherishes. Usually plushies or blankets! But obviously everyone gives their own unique little gifts
❦︎ Ok so literally my favorite regression scenario with Robbie ever is him with Gordo as a CG… Robbie regresses at work and he’s just getting frustrated with things and whining. He wants Kelly but Kelly’s so busy… So Gordo swoops in! I can imagine Gordo just taking the kid back to his office, bouncing him on one leg and just continuing to work. This way Robbie doesn’t have to feel bad for interrupting anyone’s work, but he still gets the closeness that he craves. Also Ox tries to take over to give Gordo a “break” but Gordo just holds him tighter insisting that he’s got it and Robbie drops younger at that alone, he just feels so loved…
❦︎ Robbie is touchy about being around Rico when he’s regressed. On one hand, Rico is still pack, and being around him while regressed is the best way to fully recover from their issues. However, he also just. Gets scared. Rico lashed out at him so much for things that weren’t his fault. Now he feels at fault for anything around Rico. He’s constantly apologizing for things that he’s not at all the cause of. It’s something they’re trying to work him through, that’s why he pushes himself to be around Rico, but sometimes it’s just to much and he really really just needs to be away
❦︎ Everyone call Robbie “Little Wolf” when he’s regressed RIGHT NOW. That’s what his mom used to call him and it just makes him feel so safe… When Elizabeth calls him that there is a high chance he’ll cry- And he’ll cling to her for like at least an hour. Also the only one who shouldn’t call him “Little Wolf” is Rico obviously, Rico already calls him “Lobito” which is “Wolf Club” in Spanish. It’s such a personal Rico thing! Why interrupt that perfectly good thing they’ve got going?
❦︎ Little Robbie who is STILL the tech support of the pack. He can text better and faster than half the pack still, he’s more than happy to show a babysitter how to buy him things online, he can and will pirate any cartoon he wants please and thank you. He’s not an iPad kid let me clarify, if he’s addressed his phone goes away immediately and he’s thrilled to interact with someone directly. But in his down time… He’s more than comfortable with some of the more techy agere resources
⟢ Kelly is another flip! Shocker right? Though I do think he has more of a CG lean? He likes getting to gently take care of people, while being taken care of certainly feels nice, he still doesn’t prefer it. He still does regress though! I think his age range would be around 4-6? The only exception to this is when he had his wolf taken away and he was a human. That was such a terrifying time frame for him that when he did end up regressing it was only in the 1-3 range. Which he hated, because he also regressed more frequently during that time frame
⟢ As a CG! Obviously he takes care of Robbie. That’s his mate! He also takes care of Carter a lot! The codependent brothers ever. He definitely loves to take care of Joe! Even if he understands he usually isn’t Joe’s first choice. Overall honestly he’s not many people’s first choice, but he’s content with Robbie as his main little and just helping out others when they need it. I think he’s slightly better with energetic little? But honestly he’s just kinda balanced in that aspect. Like YES he can chase them around for hours but also YES he is so ready to snuggle up and read a bedtime story
⟢ As a little! He mainly relies on Carter to watch over him. Yes Robbie always offers. Yes the alphas always offer. He wants his brother. Nothing makes him feel as safe as he is with his brother. I can also see him going to Elizabeth a lot… That’s his mom! He’ll usually play until he tuckers himself out then go to Elizabeth for a nap so he’s calm around her. He’s very anxious about being a burden. He’ll also occasionally go to Ox! Ox is a last resort, but he’s still relatively open to the idea. Usually he’d just prefer to kinda take care of himself though (Bad idea. Carter will yell at him later)
⟢ Speaking of caregivers for this little guy… Notice two people he’s really chose to missing from there? Uh huh. Joe and Robbie? Yeah he HATES relying on them while he’s regressed. He feels like such an annoying burden. If someone else is there it’s fine and he’s happy! In fact he’s extra eager to snuggle up to those two. But if it’s just one of them? No way. He’ll crawl into a little corner to make himself as tiny as possible, practically trying to be invisible. He hates being a burden so much…
⟢ Ok so I want to go into how different it was for Kelly to regress while human. But to do that I need to explain how it was when he was a wolf. So! I think he’d spend around half the time in wolf form? He kinda just matches whoever’s around him. But he’s very patient! He’s willing to undress before shifting to spare his clothes, he’s willing to let a caregiver change him into soft clothes when he shifts back. He never wants to take the lead, content to follow those around him. He likes being close to people, but he’s also perfectly content on his own! Happier when he’s with people of course though
⟢ Now when he was a human… The biggest change? He’s so much clingier. He feels so alone. Like he’s not a part of his family. His pack. He’s not like them anymore. Why, why isn’t he like them? If he’s ever alone he’ll start sobbing thinking he was abandoned, he always wants to be held in someone’s arms (This was a bit of a struggle when he was sick). If anyone’s shifted around him there will be a bare minimum of sniffling, only cure is letting him hug the wolf and cry it out into their fur. He’s also much less… Logical? Usually he’ll think ahead to understand a caregivers reasoning. But while he’s human he’s just so constantly overwhelmed that he just… He can’t. He just can’t
⟢ Don’t even get me started on the time he got sick. Ough he was such a mess… Being sick is scary! He felt so weak and vulnerable in a way he’d never felt before. Only to end up slipping and feeling even MORE vulnerable… But there’s at least a familiarity to it now. He’s constantly upset, the only one who can coax out his little smiles and adorable giggles is Robbie. Who. Isn’t even trying? He’s an anxious mess trying to take care of his mate and this toddler. This 2 YEAR OLD. Is laughing at him!
⟢ Kelly needed the whole concept of getting sick explained to him. It was educational and important and he was fine! He learned that people caught it from each other. Sure. That made sense. But it just makes little Kelly soo insecure… Cause the two options are. One, he doesn’t want anyone around him. What if he gets them sick? :( It’s not fair… He doesn’t wanna be a burden. Or. Two, most of his caregivers can try to reassure him they’re wolves and they won’t get sick! Which… Reminds him he isn’t a wolf anymore. He’s so weak now. He’s not the same as his pack. His family. He just feels so alone
ᢉ𐭩 CARTER. I thought I wasn’t gonna like him as a protagonist but then I loved him and it was great. Drumroll please… He’s a flip! Like everyone in this pack hehe. Caregiver lean? But that’s being said hesitantly because it mainly comes from his need to feel useful and how he pushes off his headspace. Which is. Not good! Carter #1 avoider of any and all help his pack tries to force on him. I love him so much. Someone help him though he like very seriously needs it
ᢉ𐭩 Starting with him as a CG! Because. I honestly love CG Carter and I’m worried I won’t talk about him enough because I love the idea of little Carter so much too (cause he’s more miserable!!!!). For starters! He is the big brother. I’m not a huge fan of familial roles for a CG cause I can’t identify with that AT ALL. But with him I can’t see it any other way. He’s the best big brother ever trust. If anyone calls him any form of dad it like GENUINELY gives him an ick. He’ll need to not watch that little. Luckily his pack is happy to step in for him! But still he wants to be useful himself :(
ᢉ𐭩 Oops a little out of order here. Eh who cares… But the littles he primarily takes care of! Obviously there’s Gavin. Who I’ve so far talked about like not at all because he’s an antisocial mess. But that’s Carter’s mate! Obviously he’ll take care of him. Also Joe and Kelly! Very indulgent to his big brother role. Those are literally his brothers. He’ll try to take care of little Ox a lot of the time too! It isn’t always successful. Ox tends to prefer the older generation that were adults even when he was a kid. But Carter can be pushy! In a nice way of course
ᢉ𐭩 Those are the littles Carter usually takes care of. The ones who rely on him and seek him out. But Carter will actively seek out absolutely anyone. He likes being in a caregiver role. Caregiver headspace is a heavy coping method for him. He likes feeling useful and needed. He’s reliant on it to. Honestly it mimics the relationship a lot of littles have with their headspace. He’ll feel the pull to take care of something. Without it he can get easily irritable. But the packs big enough he can usually find someone who’s feeling tiny
ᢉ𐭩 Now here’s where things start to merge… Carter doesn’t self regulate. He just doesn’t really know how to? He knows he needs a coping method, he knows being a caregiver is comforting to him, he doesn’t understand why he needs to regress however. He can get his comfort by taking care of his pack! He can be useful! Why would he need to regress himself? He claims he has nothing against it. It’s just less practical. That’s all. He just doesn’t need it. No one can break through this reasoning, it’s constantly a fight
ᢉ𐭩 Ok onto little Carter! For starters I think his age range would NATURALLY be like 2-5. However… It’s Carter. And he’s stupid and stubborn and doesn’t take care of his regression properly. He quite frequently forces his age range to be more like 5-10. Even when he’s supposedly accepting his regression he’s still pushing it further away. Some of it he’s even doing subconsciously, not trying to. But… Enough of it’s on purpose that he 100% can and should be blamed
ᢉ𐭩 Caregivers for little Carter! This. Is a tough one. Because Carter doesn’t want to rely on anyone while he’s regressed. He’d rather hide away. I can see him ending up at Gordo’s whenever he needs to rely on someone. Is he secretly hoping to run into Gavin? Or Ox? Maybe. But if/when he actually sees either of them he’ll get embarrassed and run away. He feels slightly less embarrassed about it around Gordo so that’s usually his main goal, but again he’d never admit that
ᢉ𐭩 Ok so while I think Carter would fight this idea with everything he has, I also think it would be beyond soothing for him when he eventually gives in. And that is… Snuggling with his brothers! While all of them are regressed. Having his brothers take care of him feels humiliating He hates it. He’s supposed to take care of them. There’s no compromise there, it’ll always make him feel worse. He knows that makes them feel bad but it’s still the truth. However if they’re also tiny? It’s… A bit more tolerable. And he does really like being around his brothers…
ᢉ𐭩 The leading argument to let Carter feel small around his brothers? Convince him he’s the oldest there. That he’s still the big brother. Joe and Kelly will act younger around him than they truly feel, and even lie about their headspace age. But it’s worth it to see their brother relax… Even if in reality he’s the tiniest one in their little cuddle pile. Shhh don’t tell him that though… Also best if headspace ages aren’t constantly brought up, cause there’s a high chance he’ll end up dropping younger and stressing out about it
ᢉ𐭩 AH I ALMOST FORGOT. Shifting while tiny! I think Carter’s most comfortable in his wolf form. He’ll just curl up on himself and relax. However… Little Carter’s #1 goal is don’t get caught. So he’ll usually stay in his human form. When he does shift he’s extremely nervous to make sure he takes clothes off properly first. He doesn’t want to ruin clothes and be a burden. He’ll remind others little’s sounds him even though in reality it’s just to remind himself
ᢉ𐭩 Ok finally talking about my favorite thing with regressor Carter… While he was on the hunt for Gavin. My poor boy was so out of it. He was LITERALLY going insane. Uhhh yeah no he was at least partially regressed like all the time. Poor baby spent his nights curled up and sobbing. He had no gear, no one to take care of him, he barely even had the clothes on his back with how disgusting they got over time
ᢉ𐭩 Carter was… Delusional during those times. He taught himself to rely on Kelly, not the real Kelly of course, just the hallucination Kelly, but that’s all he had. He’d sit across from Kelly and babble, trying to entertain himself through conversation, but he almost always inevitably ended up going in for affection. Just to find… Nothing. Resting in Kelly’s arms felt cold and empty, and the poor babies mind can’t possibly wrap around why
ᢉ𐭩 Finally meeting up with Gavin and Carter is horrified to find that he can’t push off his regression as well as he used to. And ough he hates it. Gavin is going through so much for him, Gavin isn’t admitting it but he’s terrified because of his father. And Carter… Is just some pathetic baby making Gavin take care of him. He hates it. Gavin was so shocked when Carter first started regressing so openly around him, but it didn’t take long to figure out that Carter was just losing control
ᢉ𐭩 Finally back with his pack and Carter just collapsing into Kelly’s arms… Knowing that Kelly wants to yell at him. He knows Kelly’s really mad at him. But it all just seems to dissolve there in Kelly’s arms. Cause Carter’s just a baby. He just needs to be taken care of. And it feels so nice to be in Kelly’s arms and it feels warm. It’s not that cold empty embrace. He feels loved. Gavin is slightly offended by how much Carter clings to Kelly, but he’s content to just hover nearby. They both just need to tolerate that he will be growling at Kelly whenever he sees fit
⚕ Gavin! I actually see Gavin as primarily a regressor? Not really a flip for once. He’s had situations where he’s been forced into a caregiver role, but it doesn’t come naturally to him. He’s far more comfortable if someone else is there with him to help out with any little ones. He’s only ever really been a caregiver when it comes to Carter. Because Carter is mate, must protect, keep safe. He’s an absolute mother hen in every way possible
⚕ Age range! I think Gavin has a pretty wide age range? Something like 2-7. He almost never talks while regressed, it just feels completely impossible to him. The only real difference based on his age is how functional he is. How clearly he can think and how coordinated he can move his body. It takes someone who knows him pretty well to tell how old he’s feeling. Because also? A lot of the time he doesn’t even know. It’s a kind of foreign concept to him that he struggles to really grasp, and even when he does have a grasp on it he struggles to communicate it
⚕ What form Gavin likes to be in while regressed… He’s difficult. It’s like a 50/50 shot with no in between, every single time. On one hand… He was a born human. When he actually was a kid he didn’t even know about werewolves, he only learned about them after his life became miserable. But on the other hand… He feels so safe in his werewolf form. There’s less expectations of him, he can just rely on instincts. And he feels more capable of defending himself. Whatever form he wants to be in though? That’s it. There’s no switching while regressed. He has one of those two ways of thinking and that’s that
⚕ Caregivers for this little guy! #1 caregiver of all time is Carter. That’s his mate! Carter is safe, even if he’s stupid. I also think he’d like to go to Gordo? But that’s more complicated. Gordo is his brother yes, he’s not a fan of being away from Gordo. But also things feel awkward a fair amount of the time. So it’s complicated, but if Carter’s too busy Gordo is the next best option
⚕ Talking is really weird for Gavin while regressed? Because if it’s just about comfort? He doesn’t want to talk. At all. The words just feel too heavy in his mouth and it’s so annoying. However… It was suggested by other pack members, mainly Ox and Elizabeth, that trying to talk while regressed can help him with talking in general. Gavin agreed to this! While big at least. However while tiny… He just doesn’t wanna. It’s a tough situation but he’s given his pack permission to try and push him a bit even though while small he seems uncomfortable with it. Usually Carter gives that guidance since he can read Gavin best
⚕ Ok I haven’t talked about this with anyone else but it’s fine it doesn’t matter with anyone else. Clothes he wears! Gavin will wear the softest prettiest clothes EVER. Sequins are everywhere. Soft pink sweaters. Thigh high socks. And skirts!! Gavin ignoring gender stereotypes types is PEAK. Let that kid do whatever he wants. Carter teases him about this so much and Gavin will simply stick his tongue out at him and promptly inform him that’s he’s “Stupid Carter”
⚕ Gavin can sometimes be backwards to the kind of regression that’s popular and well known. Sometimes he is just a sweet kid truly! But sometimes… Sometimes he’s really not. Sometimes he just feels so angry. This happens a lot when he felt left out, someone’s hiding something from him. He spent so much of his childhood without knowing so much important stuff. The idea of anyone trying to hide things from him is scary, and it’ll almost definitely end up with him in wolf form growling. He’ll shift to reassure himself he found out about things in the end, to prove to anyone else that he will find out. He doesn’t like secrets. They’re dangerous

♕ Elizabeth is dare I say the closest this pack has to a full time caregiver. I believe she can be relied on 100% as a caregiver, at any time. However I also believe that after her husbands death she spent most of her time in a regressed state, unable to face the real world truly as herself the person she grew into. She just needed to hide from it all for awhile. She never regressed before that and she hasn’t regressed since. She isn’t against it at all there’s just… Truly no need for her to
♕ Literally the mom caregiver ever. Anyone have mommy issues? Elizabeth is the one to go to! However she’s much better with calmer littles. She likes to sit in her painting room with a little one on her lap or at her feet. She likes to sit outside and read a story. She likes letting older regressor help her in the kitchen. The most energetic she wants to get is maybe guiding a little one to paint, however if any fights break out she will snap to attention so quickly. She doesn’t like being active but she absolutely can be, do not test her
♕ There’s something special to Elizabeth about taking care of her boys while they’re tiny again. I think she mainly takes care of Kelly, because Joe’s really energetic and Carter doesn’t like being seen while he’s small. But she makes time for all of her boys, it reminds her of when they were just pups and she was just their mother. She just likes going back to simpler times, when they didn’t have so much to worry about and nothing bad happened
♕ Ok the one time she regressed though… it was like months, while she was refusing to take on her human form. Especially when she looks back on it it all feels so… Fuzzy. She can’t pin point a specific age at any point, honestly it feels like there’s just large gaps in her memory in general. She was only in wolf form so it wasn’t too hard to take care of her or anything, but it made it a little unclear exactly what was going on at times
⛊ Ox’s mom! She was 100% a caregiver. Probably more of a babysitter? But still. She loved getting to help out with the littles in the pack, even Is she was a little unsure of what she was doing. I think it broke her heart hearing that Ox even needed a coping method like this, and she devoted herself to learning everything about it she could. She spent a lot of time with Elizabeth just asking questions, listening to stories, trying to soak up as much information as she could
☣︎ Thomas was a flip! Warning for this one. I will be talking about Richard. I’m aware that he was a terrible person and I hate him however I can’t deny the connection he and Thomas had. So he needs to be mentioned in a positive light here. Ok? Ok. ANYWAY. When he regresses I can see Thomas going down to a 6-10 range? He’s not too young or anything, he just likes the freedom to run around and play a bit
☣︎ Ok Thomas and Richard and their codependency means the world to me. Yes he has Elizabeth, that’s his mate. But… Richard was always different. Elizabeth knew that and just had to accept it. Richard had been there first after all. So for caregivers Thomas had the both of them, but as a caregiver himself Thomas only took care of Richard. I think Thomas would regress around his kids while they were still young enough to not really process their dads acting different, but as they grew up it made him more uncomfortable so he sort off stopped. He wanted to look strong for them
☣︎ Just thinking about Thomas oh so slowly relying on Elizabeth more than Richard. He can’t help it, Elizabeth is his mate, all of his instincts say to rely on her. But… He hates leaving Richard behind. He’ll go out of his way to regress around Richard, not to hard since the man is practically a regression trigger for him. Reminding him so much of his youth and freedom. But there’s still times where he’s away from Richard and it just… Feels kinda yucky. Like he’s abandoned his old friend
☣︎ Oh and then he truly does need to abandon Richard, he has to hate the man. It was a cruel twist of fate to let them get so close in the first place really. Because even after everything Richard did, to poor little Joe, his son, while regressed he’s still the one Thomas craves. Sometimes while he’s small he doesn’t remember what Richard did, he’ll just look up to Elizabeth with those wise innocent eyes and ask why he can’t see his friend
