I need to yap about this, the representation of how strade experiences something that could be called “dark empathy” is absolutely amazingly done, he tears up, his hand trembling as you cry. He can feel what you feel, He gets off on this. As he cuts you open he watches your every reaction, breathing with you, as if he had been mutilating himself rather than you even down to slowly pulling it from the wound.

When you fall down the stairs and you reply miserably he will tear up as he watches you struggle to speak through tears and gasps of pain. Strade reply’s saying “ah..stop…your gonna make me..” his own eyes rimmed with tears before he takes shaky breaths to call himself I just want to say how much I adore how it was written and portrayed in the art Ty for coming to my ted talk I am so autistic about this man strade ily 🩸
