Devin never thought he'd get the chance to get Johnny back. So that's why he took the chance without hesitation when they realized Johnny was on Zinyak's ship.

Usually it’s Matt who freaks out and Skylar who stays calm though admittedly, it has been reversed in a few situations.

Also Matt. Not that Skylar can’t come up with it on her own but he usually has a suggestion that she likes better.

Matt again! He’ll help but Skylar is just better at handling it overall.

Both. Depending on the situation but honestly Skylar usually has better connections.

Neither. Neither even really jokes about it.

Neither? Skylar would beat someone’s ass in that situation before she blamed Matt.

Faith didn’t care much when it came to money, period, except where she had to manage the overhead in keeping a crew together and civil to one another (whereupon it became a pride thing) and in those rare instances when her proclivity for borrowing from a randomly misplaced wallet or few wouldn’t see her through the day.

Bossville had been a bit far to the latter at the outset, but… well…

…with Gat around, there was an surplus of voluntarily surrendered cash on hand.

“Sounds good,” she mumbled around a mouthful of sugar.

The roll gave him enough leverage to put him on his knees.  Using the sudden stability, Gat swung the knife at the guy’s arm, trying to get him to let go.

Once his hand closed around his knife, Gat threw all of his weight into a leftward roll. The punch still grazed off the back of his skull, but not with the same direct force that could have taken him out of the fight.

In all, would take him another precious second or three to click the knife open, one-handed, after he’d gotten it out of his pocket.

“Fudge sounds good,” Faith admitted.  “And cookies.  And-… what kind of fruit?”

Unlike Gat, she didn’t bother with totals.  She just placed down a sizable amount of crumpled bills and figured there were very few places where that wouldn’t be enough money for after binge pastries.

She tugged the box closer to her, and proceeded to munch on the cinnamon roll at right there at the counter.

“That easy, huh? Maybe it was just what you were meant to do. I couldn’t even manage a proper interview without looking like I was getting a mugshot,” Furia chuckled. “Let alone actually convince anyone that I was someone else.”

“Well, that was good at least.” She tried not to think too much or make any comparisons, but there was a thought that tried to take hold and she focused on the feeling of her breath in her lungs. 

“You might have to give me some pointers on that last bit sometime,” she said, trying to find some amusement in her statement as they meandered toward the sidewalk. 

“How you end up acting?”

With his left hand, Johnny made a grab for the guy grabbing him.  As he was dragged back, he tried to slam his heel down on the guy he’d been focused on, aiming for his gut.

His right hand went for his pocket.

Faith shrugged, but her smile broke into a half-grin.

“What else you got?” she asked, starting to search her pockets for cash.
