a lot of the posts online about asexuality emphasize that sex isn’t necessary for happiness and fulfillment in a relationship, which is true, but there is a large portion of the asexual community that does have and like sex, which is important, too.
asexuality is a lack of sexual attraction, not necessarily the repulsion of sex. many asexuals have sex in order to please their partner, have children, or because they like it. you are no less asexual for not being sex-repulsed.
it’s ok to never want anything to do with sex! it’s ok to be indifferent about sex! it’s ok to love sex! none of these make you any more or less asexual.

If you’ve already come out to people, you’re still allowed to come out again as something different. Sometimes labels change, sometimes multiple labels apply. Identity is never written in stone.

Yeah definitely. There’s a lot of reasons someone who is aromantic may still want or enjoy doing romantic things, exactly the same way someone can be asexual but still want/enjoy sex. It can be fun, you can like the attention, etc.
Cupioromantic might be a useful label to check out too if you’re interested. It was coined specifically for aromantic people who want romance/a romantic relationship.

Any type of attraction can be really intense or really weak. The same person can experience different types of attraction at different intensities.
Heya! I'm aromantic, but growing up I always liked the idea of a fairy tail ending. Spouse, children, pets, whatever. So when I found out I was aromantic, I felt crushed, and spent many years mourning the absence. (And I know aromantic people can still have relationships but just the idea of being in one and doing romantic stuff makes my stomach churn.) Basically, I want to say something that I needed to hear back then. It's alright to feel that way. Plenty do. You, and your feelings, are valid.

Yeah, absolutely. Some aros still enjoy having romantic relationships, even if they don’t have romantic attraction, and may marry those partners. Some aros also get married to their QPPs (queerplatonic/quasiplatonic partners), and some marry platonic friends.
Marriage isn’t for all aros, but some want to get married or do get married.

You can be aromantic without being asexual. Aromantic as an identity can exist on its own or be paired with other sexual orientations.
