I just logged in here for the first time in forever and seeing so many people I used to interact with all the time but haven’t in ages still alive and kicking and doing their thing is genuinely so great I miss y’all hope you’re doing well

I’m coming up on my two year anniversary and for some reason the desire to drink has been really strong lately. I’m so fucking depressed and I have no support system in place and I dealt with that for years and years by drinking and I don’t know any other way. It is a huge fucking drag, let me tell you. 

Hey guys look I’m really happy I got sober cause I’m no longer completely consumed by shame and self-hatred but here’s the thing alcohol medicated my crippling anxiety really well and now I haven’t seen my friends in two years 

I have this problem where I try to drown my crippling depression in expensive purchases on fleeting interests and it needs to stop! 

I already can’t stop listening to this new Julien Baker record. It’s so fucking good.
