where you are right now is not the same place you’ll be in a year. or two. or three. and trust me, this can be a really wonderful thing. life has so many surprises in store for you, my friend. i hope some day you’ll be able to look back and understand you were meant to be happy, safe and cherished all along.

there’s no certain point during your healing journey in which you’re more or less worthy of love. you’re always worthy of love. you’re always worthy, no matter how far you are in your recovery process or not.

trust that things will be okay

just because others can’t see your progress doesn’t mean you’re not making any. you’re doing great and, more importantly, you’re doing enough. keep going.
