Singer 99, manufactured in Elizabethport, NJ, 1956. Even came with an original Singer buttonhole kit, which was actually a separate purchase for some time - we take for granted that buttonhole stitches are part of the standard offering these days. Still have to replace the bulb (never turn on a very old lamp with a very old bulb because it could explode) and replace the wires in the motor; will also need to replace the belt. Purchased in remarkable storage condition with a needle still in the clamp and a bit of thread in the bobbin. We've only buffed it with sesame oil to pick up dust and grime. Look at it move! The last time it was used, it was perfectly functioning. Imagine what it will do with a bit of maintenance. This machine was loved
