art is a sleepy sleepy musician

mmmm wasnt a suuuper productive practice today, but i worked on tone a little bit with an etude from our technique book. i also just kinda skipped saturday and sunday since i could practice whoops

mainly did some etudes in our band book. was pretty much for tone buuuut i havent noticed any difference from day one 🤷‍♂️. i have no clue why my middle d decided to sound super weird at the end of oractice, i checked every key and everything seals🙃🙃oh well

mmmmm did not like todays practice, just sounded kinda gross the whole time. my tone on lower notes really needs some work but its alright on high notes. this lyrical has such weird rhythms and i keep getting frustrated 🙃🙃 i just want to be abe to play it confidently before christmas, im a little less than halfway now.

mainly worked on all state music, working out rhythms and notes in the lyrical. plotted out all the notes bc this key is messingggg me up. my tone is really gross today, lower notes went really flat. i’ll probably work on tone tmr
