Cindy Sherman, Italian Neo-Realism inspired “Untitled Film Still”

The “cornered but confrontational” aspect that Cindy Sherman employs in many of her Untitled Film Stills is something I particularly enjoy. Amsterdam art collectors Martijn and Jeanette Sanders became fascinated with her work in the early 1980’s and several of her photographs are on display as part of the Bad Thoughts exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
