Very Normal About Characters

This blog will probably just be me talking about Project Moon for now and some fandom related art I do in my free time! If you want to chat or share anything, feel free! :)

Please know I’ve only finished up to the end of The Dream Ending and I don’t want any spoilers. Sharing any WILL result in you getting blocked.

1. Hong Lu. I wish I was this pretty (said gender neutrally) and he’s extremely mentally ill but suppresses it heavily silly! I liked how he respects Don. Also, fuck yeah, constant headaches with the Reindeer ID. Bonus points for making me feel represented as well as being extremely pretty (in a gender-ambiguous way from the perspective of my own culture.) I want him and I don’t know what I mean when I say that.

2. Rodya. Tall silly lady, also heavily mentally ill. I love her and she’s very swoon-worthy for so many reasons. I love her having an axe and punching things.

3. Heathcliff. FUCK YEAH, FOUND FAMILY. He cares so much?? And is so straightforward and smart when he decides to be?? I love how much he cares for the other sinners.

4. Faust. So autistic and I love that for her. Her not shutting up until Heathcliff took back a negative comment on Mephistopheles?? YES. That was so lovable. I like how she avoids eye contact until you fuck up, how she was like “Don’t come to me with metaphors, I’m bad at that. Go to Yi Sang,” how she’s starting to rely on Faust less, and how she treated the others when she didn’t have access to Faust. Also love her and Yi Sang’s dynamic.

5. Don Quixote. Also autistic and WILL infodump. So passionate and continuing to move forward despite everything. She’s so strong and tries her best.

6. Yi Sang. Holy shit did his song hit hard. Such a mood and he’s so sweet. I, additionally, adore that he’s canonically had spoiled milk (and was fine afterwards) and would eat potatoes burnt to a crisp and flowering potatoes.

7. Ishmael. Pretty solid head on her shoulders without Ahab around. A bit combative, but pretty reasonable and orderly. I appreciate her directness and how she reads the pamphlets as we travel. (We also love a girl who can live in a world where she has constant headaches.)

8. Gregor. I so wish I could put him higher, but he needs a bit more. I enjoy his depressed dad vibes, his jokes, his self loathing, his terrible improv, but he just. Needs that little something else. Bonus points for the ponytail, it basically matches mine in real life.

9. Meursault. Don’t know much. Another definitely autistic sinner. It was definitely surprising that he’d been to clubs. I quite like how he’s so literal and needs to have explicit instructions/requests given.

10. Ryōshū. She kinda scares me (hence why she’s so low), but I loved her with her comments and little mustache in TKT.

11. Outis. Stop lying to my face. Stop being a suck up. Be nice to - or at least respectful towards - the other sinners. She lost points with me for immediately wanting to turn against Don. Barber Outis is really hot though, I can kinda get the hype from that.

The set is finally complete with the (adapted) Servant of Wrath EGO attack worn by our lovely Ishy!!

KoG Rodya - KoD Don Quixote - QoH Heathcliff

Some little details utc.

Here’s the (adapted) Queen of Hatred Library EGO for Heathcliff!! So many little details I added and so many references I used. This was a rough one. I’m not fully satisfied, but I think this is where I’m gonna leave it for now. I’m disappointed he didn’t officially at least get the In The Name of Love and Hate EGO attack, but what can ya do~?

Unnecessary rambling about little details I added under the cut.

The pictures on the last row are older (oldest to the bottom far right, younger to the left) and the first row is the most recent pieces. These obviously aren’t all of the drawings I’ve done of them, but these are all pretty polished digital art pieces I made within about the past 6 months.

Feel free to ask more about them or request that they have their own blog or something. I don’t know what to do with them here. (Click for higher quality images.)

Scales, feathers, anatomy, weird shapes, and holes/tears are some of the things I’m trying to figure out, but it’ll get there. I may not be happy with it in a few months, but hey, that’ll just be a sign I’ve continued to grow.
