Lonesome
Tetsu felt a presence zip by him, and he turned his head to glance about the cafe to try and spot anything out-of-the-ordinary. Shrugging his shoulders and coming to the conclusion that it was just the draft from the door, he turned back to his friend.
“Huh, a section for just Pokemon to mingle, how interesting.” Tetsu stared at the closed-off section with curiosity. Ralts was riding on Leavanny’s head and waving at Tetsu. He smiled warmly and waved back, happy that his shy Pokemon was now being okay in public. He would have to thank Burgh and his Pokemon for that later.
“Yeah, it seems like Ralts is okay with it. So what food would you recommend me, Burgh?”
Burgh watched Leavanny and Ralts descend into the lounge, before turning his attention back towards Tetsu. "I suppose a farfalle, though I don't know what your tastes are like. I tend to get this mushroom ravioli that's simply divine. Speaking of which, what are your preferences for food? I've never gotten around to asking you."
At that moment, the waiter came around, to ask them about drinks, and to inform them their favourite guest was performing tonight. At this, Burgh perked up, his suspicions confirmed.
Lonesome
Tetsu noticed that Burgh was talking a little faster and using a stranger, more colorful vocabulary. Was this how he normally talked to people close to him? No matter, he was an interesting person to be with, nonetheless. Tetsu laughed. “Well, even if we are recognized, I wouldn’t mind singing a little number on stage. I actually love to sing!”
Tetsu smiled and nodded a ‘thank you’ as Burgh held the door open for him. He gazed inside at the small cafe, which had warm colors and a cozy atmosphere.
“I like the feel already! Nice pick!” He gestured towards the artist to lead the way.
Burgh chuckled, and responded, "If you did end up singing on stage, then we really would have a reason to pick up a top hat. How amusing that would be...Would we get a cane as well...?" His voice trailed off a bit at the end, and his eyes twinkled for all but a second when he saw a flash of black and green flit by. He waited for everyone to enter before entering himself, and gently closing the door behind him.
Looking around, he spotted the person -or rather pokemon- that was the cause of his earlier excitement. "Ah, thank you, glad you like it. I do hope it doesn't disappoint." Burgh made his way towards the hostess podium and rattled off a few names and numbers. He noted that the pokemon had made their way to the roped off side of the cafe, and Tetsu's inquiring stare. "This cafe has a little quirk to it, that pokemon have their own lounge so to speak, I hope that's alright with you."
Throughout all of this, the hostess was gathering up menus and what not.
Lonesome
Tetsu laughed at how much fun Ralts was having with Leavanny. Normally, she would be to shy to even get close to anyone other than Tetsu, but because of the time she spent with Leavanny, they were as close as sisters.
Tetsu then glanced over to his friend as he explained the Cafe Sonata. He noticed that Burgh was looking a little embarrassed but felt no need to mention it. Rather, Tetsu just responded with his enthusiastic side, interested in this cafe and the stars that occasionally appear there. “Wow, there are musicians that perform there? I wonder why I have never heard of this cafe before. It sounds very intriguing, from what you say about it. I think I’ll give it a try!”
Burgh laughed, it was rare that there was someplace Tetsu hadn't heard of, much less been to. Or at least, that's what he presumed-given his occupation. "That's prolly because it's this little far off cafe that the underground attend to," his speech was slipping a bit, perhaps he was flustered, nevertheless he swallowed and continued, "or at least that's what others tell me. People just seem to know who I am whenever I do drop by, let's hope no one recognizes you either, or we might have to dash into a haberdashery and get you a charming top hat. But, let's go ! Dilly dallying doesn't do anyone any good."
The four of them ambled about, chatting about this and that, until they arrived at what appeared to be an apartment door, with its lines all blurred, a faint outline of a number still there. Burgh pushed open the door, and gestured to the rest of their party.
Lonesome
At Burgh’s mention of the fact that they were still lingering around the docks, Tetsu shivered from the cool ocean breeze and laughed. “Yes, that sounds wonderful!”
He picked up his Ralts, who was shivering at his feet. He wasn’t sure if she was shivering from the cold weather or just copying how Tetsu felt at the moment. But either way, she was adorable. As they began to walk away from the pier, Tetsu glanced around at the nearby buildings that towered over them. “What restaurants do you recommend here, Burgh?”
They began walking away from the docks, heading toward where the Pokemon Center was located. Leavanny and Ralts seemed to be playing with each other, but who could really tell? Ralts had climbed out of Tetsu's arms, only to perch atop Leavanny's head, looking down at it while serenely smiling.
Glancing around the sprawling skyscrapers and tiny shops nestled in between, Burgh flippantly replied, "It's up to you really, in terms of taste or ambiance. Many people tend to like Cafe Sonata though, it's this little niche on a nearby alleyway. If we're lucky, their star might be performing for lunch." Burgh rattled on a bit, but relented when he realized he never gave his friend a chance to reply. He looked away for a bit, turning a slight shade of pink.

Lonesome
The Ralts slowly peered from behind Tetsu’s leg, sensing that both the human and his Pokemon were exuding positive emotions. Seeing that they were friendly, she answered to Burgh’s greeting with a joyful and warm cry.
Tetsu chuckled and peered down at his Pokemon. “Seems like Ralts is already warming up to you!” At being addressed, Ralts then became a little nervous at all the attention and held onto Tetsu’s leg shyly. Tetsu dismissed the behavior with a little wave of the hand and finally answered Burgh’s question.
“Anyways, everything is going alright. Keeping busy as usual.” Now Tetsu exerted some of the shyness that Ralts was. He averted his gaze slightly. “It’s really nice to hang out with you after so long..”
He looked down at the huddled Ralts, commenting to himself just how adorable it was. It seemed the pokemon picked up on it though, as Burgh watched it cling to Tetsu's leg once more. He had been watching trainer and pokemon's movements so intently, studying their every move, that it wasn't until a few moments later that he realized his question had been answered.
His smile curved downward a smidgen when he noticed the aversion of his friend's gaze. Perhaps he was simply emulating his friend, exhibiting shyness to a degree as well? Though that would be odd, he didn't seem the like the shy sort. Deciding the move past it, he responded, "It certainly has been a long time, and I agree with you. It's such a refreshing change of pace. Though, I do think it would be better for the both of us to move away from the docks? I'm sure the salty wind is affecting us both. Perhaps a bite to eat?"
Lonesome
He suddenly perked up at the other’s words, and then began to explain himself sheepishly. “Ah, I forgot to tell you! Well, since I’ve been working double overtime lately, my boss allowed me to take the rest of the day off.”
Seeing that Burgh was having his Galvantula get fresh air, he decided he would too. “Oh, you should meet my Ralts! I know I’ve told you a little bit about her, but nothing beats the real thing!” He stopped walking for a moment to take out his Pokeball from his pocket and release his Ralts. She looked up curiously at the unfamiliar faces, poking her head shyly from behind Tetsu’s leg.
Burgh was happy for his friend, it must be nice to get a day off from working at all times. "That's simply wonderful!" He peered over at the little pokemon, his grin diminishing a bit into a warm smile. "Hello, Ralts ! It's a pleasure to meet you, you're such a darling!"
He was hoping the emotion pokemon would be able to pick up on his kind intentions, and resumed chatting with Tetsu. "How has everything been as of late? I'm sure it's been busy, naturally."
((Burgh, is this hinting at a future battle between us? xD))
((Who knows, it could be a result of your being with it for so long !))
Lonesome
Tetsu and Leavanny stood at the railing on deck, glancing around at the pier for Burgh. They spotted his bright outfit and bushy hair right away, and waved at him with exuberance. Upon docking, they walked down the steps of the ferry and ran towards the gym leader to greet him. Tetsu smiled radiantly at Burgh, and he was shown to be wearing his casual outfit to prevent people from recognizing him.
“Burgh, it’s so nice to see you in person after so long!” he greeted the other while extending his hand.
Burgh noticed in the distant a leafy arm and a flash of color in the distance. He blinked, trying to recollect himself, and then realized who it was. His calm demeanor expanded into a grin, and he reached to shake Tetsu's hand. "It's so good to see you, and of course Leavanny as well!" They made small talk, with Galvantula having popped out from it's pokeball to say hello to an old friend.
After a bit, Burgh noticed that Tetsu was in considerably duller colours than normal, and assumed it was to blend in easily. "How did you manage to get an extended lunch today? It must've been a stroke of luck."

Burgh smirked a bit, noticed the slight curl of his friend’s lip as he talked about the line ups. His smirk grew into a grin as he reacquainted himself with his two friends, and he proclaimed, “I can only imagine how hectic everything must be, your shows start up soon as well, don’t they?” He peered through his screen a bit more intently, noticing how Leavanny seemed to be peering over Tetsu’s shoulders as well.
Seeing his friend cry out enthusiastically, a wave of relief washed over him. Burgh was immensely relieved to see that neither of them had forgotten him. “Ah, I miss you too Leavanny!” Burgh smiled, performing a little hand motion unconsciously as he ran through his schedule mentally. “I would indeed, where would you like to meet up?”
“Hm..” Tetsu took a moment to pause and reflect on his schedule and the distance from Virbank to Nimbasa. It was a ferry ride away, which wouldn’t take too long.
He shrugged. “Give us about 20 minutes and we can meet at the docks again. Then we can go get a CasteliaCone or something. Does that sound good?”
"Not a problem at all, I'll see you soon." Burgh bid his farewells to the both of them, and turned off the monitor. He lounged about for a bit, until deciding on getting ready. He shuffled about, gathering this and that until time drew near. He left for the Castelia docks, toward the main pier.
In the far off distance, he saw a ferry draw near, tooting it's bellows.

Tetsu’s lips couldn’t help but curve into a warm smile at seeing his friend on the screen of his Xtranceiver. Although he was extremely tired, seeing a friendly face was enough to make him feel better. He chuckled. “Ah ha ha…It’s been very chaotic because of the new fall line-ups. But I can’t really complain because it’s given me new opportunities. And your Leavanny is enjoying it as well.”
He pointed his Xtransceiver towards Burgh’s Leavanny, whom gave a friendly cry and waved. Tetsu spoke up for her, “She misses you, though. I think I can pull off having a lunch extension today, so would you like to meet up?”

Quite alright. Mm, understandable. I barely have time on my hands as it is, with all the challengers. [Burgh was stopped mid sentence, at the sound of his referee announcing yet another challenger’s arrival.] It seems I’ll have to excuse myself for the time being. I do hope we’ll chat again soon.
Ah, I hope so too. Best of luck with this battle. *She waves slightly, smiling back*
He came back, it was such a fast battle that it wasn't even worth leaving for. To his surprise, he found that he had left the xtransceiver on, and apparently so had Elesa. He decided to call out to her, hopefully without startling her. "Oh, it seems I forgot to hang up, and vice versa, ahah. Though, it almost seems like I never left in the first place."
It could have been better, but for now I’ve been doing well enough. I got a lot of time to think about what has happened lately. What about yourself?
"That's always good, I'm glad you've had time to reflect. I've been the same as always, people come and go, you know." He smiled, it'd been quite a stretch of time since he - anyone had seen N about. It was good to see him healthy.
“Okay! I’ll be over there soon. Let me just tidy up around the lab.” Bianca smiles happily and looks around. “We will see you soon, Burgh!” The girl waved good-bye, and her Joltik chirped in response as well. She shut off the X-transceiver after Burgh said bye. She then proceeded to organize her notes, and write a note for the Professor telling her she was at Castelia Gym. With her Pokemon in tow, Bianca mounted her bike and rode off to Castelia City.
He turned off his monitor after Bianca bade him a farewell, and looked at his friend. "It appears we'll have to clean up earlier than I had planned. Oh well, better early than late." Burgh got up, extricating his legs from a contorted pose and stretched, sitting like that sure got the blood to stop flowing. He began to gather the papers he had been looking at before into a file folder, put them back onto a shelf, turned off the lights, and walked out the room, closing the door. Galvantula followed, and at the end of the hallway, the two split ways; Burgh heading towards the kitchen to make tea, and Galvantula towards the forest to tell everyone they were about to receive guests in a bit.
After the tea had steeped for about a few minutes or so, Burgh heard the front doors open, with an automated sound, and walked over to greet them. "Ah, that was rather quick of you ! Perhaps you'd like to sit? I'm sure it wasn't a fun way through the forest." He laughed, and opened a closet door to let her stow the bike away for now.

viridianharmony started following you
Ah, N. It's been a while, how have you been doing?
“People are jaded and bitter, is all. It’s often due to some slight they believe have befallen them. He frowned a bit at the thought, it didn’t seem right to take that angst out on others and their hard work.
He pondered over the question for a bit, until deciding to check the calender on his desk. “Why no, I’m actually rather free today. I managed to finish the week’s work early. And yourself?”
“Well either way, it’s not very nice… But anyway.” She smiled. “Maybe I could go visit you at the Gym today! I could bring over Chiffon and my other Pokemon. A play-date!” Bianca giggled at the proposal.
"That would be a delight!" He clapped his hands a little, grinning widely. Galvantula seemed to sense the excitement emanating from his friend, and gnashed his pincers together happily. "Ah, I'm sure the pokemon would enjoy it. They could play in the garden." He giggled a bit, it wasn't exactly a gardenper se, but more like a sprawling forest in the back of the gym. "Feel free to come down whenever you're done with your work."
