Yīngxīng- no, Blade's- presence is, as ever, a complete surprise.
Not necessarily a bad one, despite his... reputation. A surprise nonetheless, given said reputation and the trouble it tends to bring him. More so is the fact that he returns to Kaveh at all, and while it makes him nervous- anxious really, given his aversion to trouble- he can't pretend it doesn't also excite him. To have someone so brilliant seemingly interested in Kaveh's work... what craftsman wouldn't be pleased?
Even if the fact came with the possibility of arrest. Or at the very least, punishment.
(He thought less about that than he should, really- unusual for someone as prone to overthinking as he.)
"It's- it does matter a little," Kaveh huffs out, not wanting to seem ungrateful. After all, the materials in question would have taken him months- or even years to requisition. The Artisanship Commission seemed to care little for the much briefer lifespans of its short-lived artisans. Even so, he picks up the materials in question- heavier than they look by far, which makes him wonder just how strong Blade is (not that Kaveh is any slouch himself)- and hoists them toward the nearest of his workbenches. "...still. Thank you. This is... it'll help a lot, really. Are you staying to help-?"
Kaveh expects no physical assistance with what he intends to make with the materials. His presence and insight, however, are more than enough help in Kaveh's opinion.
"Ah- should I make tea-?"
