"Breaking Free." My initial idea was about breaking the glass ceiling, but I struggled with how to achieve that in the time I had before the exhibition deadline (didn't get juried in anyway, but I'm happy with the piece). Keeping that thought in the back of my mind for a future piece.
Mixed media (felt, wool roving , cotton, glass, resin)
Forgot to post this one. Created for an art exhibit called Monochrome.
"Melting ICE," bead weaving, glass beads and nylon thread
Recently finished and currently in a local exhibition.
"Falling Leaves," bead weaving with seed beads And agate rounds.
First in my series, "From Death, Life I." Inspired by Old Gods of Appalachia. Almost called the series "The Green and the Dark," but went with a more decay and rebirth name.
Deer skull and beaded glass flowers mounted on cotton and stretch poly. Vintage mirror frame.

Recently finished piece for a show called "What's Your Muse?" because this phrase is empty and makes me angry.
Dropping these three off tonight for a show called Mighty Minis. All of the pieces are 8"*8" in the show.
"Pump," "Breathe," and "Squeeze," watercolor and embroidery, mounted on cradled wood panel.
Recent piece for a show focused on Dadaism. I have so many doll parts now.
"My Heart is in Your Hands," mixed media (felt, cotton, Barbie arms, glass, nylon)

Some slow stitching happening around here. Calling this one "Forest Floor." Lots of freeform embroidery to try and calm my mind.
Recent mixed media fiber piece based on fields around where I grew up. "Harvested Field," wool, felt, satin
A piece I did for an upcoming show about the power of healing through art. It's called "L(eyes) I Tell Myself." Cotton embroidery thread, glass beads, mirror, paper on cradled wood board.
This one was very much art therapy for myself, with things I have said to myself over the years. I'm in a better headspace overall these days, but I do still have my days
Had an idea that I just had to make. After beheading Barbies for another project, I decided to go ham on taking more Barbies apart.
"My Heart is in Your Hands," mixed media (felt, glass beads, cotton, Barbies, nylon)
She's done and she's so pretty! Inspired by a Rorschach inkblot, this piece incorporates glass seed beads and crystals, soutache, leather (backing), and a metal toggle clasp

Some smaller pieces I've done lately. The butterfly is in a 3" hoop while the others are in 4" hoops. All mix needle felting and embroidery, with some bead embroidery and stumpwork. The bird and butterfly also featuring small bones
I've been struggling to find the bandwidth to work on larger pieces lately. I just started a new set of lungs, but I also need to finish two of my pieces for my solo show, and I have two deadlines coming up for other shows.
I just wanna get my ADHD test done.
Some recently finished mixed media collages using a variety of material, ranging from gelatin prints on tissue paper, reclaimed beads, pc and watch parts, gelly roll pens, oil and chalk pastels, acrylic paint marker, and wax medium. Just throw everything at it
