Arthur Weasley

            “  so  ye  want  me  a  take  all  tha’  risks  then  once  ye  know  its  safe  then  ye’ll  do  it ?  ”  she  teased ,  not  actually  caring  too  much  about  all  that .  mary  was  just  happy  arthur  wasn’t  going  to  stop  her .

she’d been bitter most of the week– it could have been for several reasons, her brothers getting on her case, her workload tripling, or the fact that the words exchanged between her and marlene on the train had left her a little reeling. seeing him softened the emotion in her gut slightly, but didn’t quite calm the storm within her. She pulled her coat a little tighter around her frame, the slightly tattered tweed scratching at her chin as a smile moved over her features. 

with one last deep breath to rid herself of ill emotion, molly pushed her hands into her coat pocket before throwing him a smile. “definitely not waiting for anyone.” she mused. “and i’m in need of copius amounts of sugar– so much sugar, I shake. doable? i think so.”

the last thing that arthur wanted to ever do was to add to mollys problems. but he couldn’t wait to be spending more time with her. he was a generally happy person but when he was around her, that seemed to be his default setting. 

arthur wasn’t sure what had happened but he was glad that it meant he got to spend more time with molly. he chuckled as she spoke. arthur had always enjoyed his time with molly but he was sure today was going to add to it. “oh - i like that plan. i’m gonna join you with that plan. it’s absolutely doable.” he beamed at molly before he held out his arm to her, “lets get going.” 

       「 🌼 」    ━━━━━     𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐏  𝐎𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐍  𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐃  𝐓𝐇𝐄  fifth  year  ,  not  that  she’d  tell  anyone  ,  she’d  learn  to  lay  motionless  long  enough  for  her  roommates  to  assume  her  asleep  before  they’d  fall  into  deep  slumbers  &  her  eyes  would  snap  open  to  stare  into  the  darkness  ,  last  night  was  no  different  .  the  slytherin  found  herself  settled  into  a  spot  on  her  house  table  ,  books  spread  around  her  as  she  attempted  to  finish  off  the  last  of  her  magical  creatures  paper  .  she  hadn’t  expected  anyone  for  a  long  time  ,  but  the  tables  were  lined  with  the  beginnings  of  breakfast  &  her  hands  closed  around  the  warm  mug  of  hot  cocoa  .  his  footsteps  had  been  so  quiet  she’d  barely  heard  a  thing  until  he’d  spoke  ,  her  body  jolting  slightly  ,  a  trickle  of  dark  liquid  dribbling  down  her  fingers  as  a  result  .  blue  eyes  turned  on  him  ,  teeth  chewing  her  cheeks  for  a  moment  before  she  shrugged  .     ❝              up  for  the  day  ,  wanted  to  get  a  head  start  on  this  .  ❞     she  lies  ,  telling  him  she  hadn’t  slept  would  of  been  seen  as  a  weakness  .  just  maybe  not  too  him  .

arthur smiled as he looked over at peter. he had been in the common room with the other for a little while now, in silence. the nice kind of silence though. the comfortable kind of silence. “do you fancy going to get some food in the kitchens?” arthur asked with a raise of an eyebrow and a laugh. “the house elves love me so we should be able to get a decent stash.” it was quite a common occurrence that arthur was hungry. 

arthur sighed as he turned over in his bed. he had, had a nightmare, about what was to come. it seemed like his dreams were just getting worse and worse. arthur could almost think about nothing else. he sat up in his bed, almost certain that he wasn’t about to get back to sleep any time soon. he looked around at the other boys and chuckled as he spotted james, “what are you doing awake?” he whispered, raising an eyebrow as he did so. he and james had always gotten along quite well but they never really talked much. “everything alright?”   

arthur couldn’t help but smile as he came down from the common room to see molly. he wasn’t sure when his thoughts about her had changed - but over the last year or so, they certainly had. he had always appreciated her company, always thought that she was a beautiful girl but it seemed like now he thought about her more, felt something more towards her. though he didn’t know how comfortable he was about sharing that with her, at least just yet. 

it was the weekend and arthur hoped to be able to spend some time with the readhead. “are you going to hogsmeade this weekend? if you’re not waiting for anyone, we could head over?” he asked with a smile. it wasn’t unusual for the two of them to spend time together so he didn’t feel nervous asking her. “my sweet stash is getting dangerously low. i need to re stock.” 

arthur had gotten used to being up early while he had been at home and it was something that hadn’t stopped now he was back at school. he liked being up early enough to have some quiet, to spend a little time with his thoughts. the first thing he did that morning, though, was get himself a cup of tea. he smiled as he spotted another person close by, “i didn’t expect anyone else to be up this early.” he chuckled slightly. “can’t sleep or up for the day?” 

( cis male | he/him | chance perdomo ) —— isn’t that ARTHUR WEASLEY? yeah that is them, sitting there at the GRYFFINDOR table with those other SIXTH years. when sybill looks into that crystal ball of hers, she sees chunky jumpers, footprints in fresh snow, bruises on legs from bumping into things, the sound of people laughing, a pile of different sweets, a man willing to do what it took to look after the people he cares about. anyway i’ve heard they’re pretty FUNNY, UP BEAT, and CAUTIOUS. apparently they’re a 'FOR THE LIGHT' and PUREBLOOD but i’m sure that’s not related.
