delightful news!
on this momentous day of april 1st, i am overjoyed to announce that me and jack vessalius are officially engaged. though many have told me this could never have happened, earlier today i got down on one knee and he said yes! (his exact words may have been more along the lines of "sure" or "whatever you say", but ultimately his affirmation is all that matters.) i would love to see those who have doubted me expressing remorse, perhaps in the form of a written apology, but truthfully the promise of getting to spend the rest of my life alongside a man as remarkable as jack is all the consolation i could ever desire. no need to go chasing approval of those who want to see me fail... and those who don't, please await further news about our wedding in the coming months.
happy anniversary to... me having been the biggest of april's fools. i look back at this announcement with a strange feeling, as now i can say i have stirred clear from jack vessalius for many months. let it be known, i am in a better place, mentally, physically (away from his sphere of influence where he could have still swayed me). no longer do i dream of his captivating emerald eyes or his freckled face or silken hair... ha
