My darlings! I want to get back into gallery shows next year! Anyone have any recommendations they're willing to share?

One thing I've really noticed since my illness got louder, is that my marketing for my art has suffered. >.>;; I plan to spend this month trying to wrap my head around current marketing techniques, because let's be honest - it's been maybe three years since I was able to take marketing seriously and whoo boy things have changed since then lol

I also plan to spend this month learning gouache. It's a medium I've always loved, but I've never really had the chance to learn. I've found some classes on skillshare (not sponsored) that I'm going to give a go.

I hate having a chronic illness. Not that I imagine anyone enjoys being chronically ill. But it's really frustrating that it zaps my energy in such a way that my ability to create art is affected.

Nor does it help that I've lost most of my love for art and now I'm trying to find it again. This seems to be a normal thing for artists who peruse their passion as a career, not the good normal.

I need to constantly be gentle with myself.

I've doctors who are helping me and I'm so grateful for them. I'm very lucky that I have doctors who actually believe me.

It's been a really rough few years for me because of this. Hopefully I can start crawling out of this or pacing myself better so I can start doing things I love and finding my passions again.
