About a year and a half ago I downloaded a bunch of random movie screencaps off Shotdeck for head studies, and I've been poking at them off and on ever since. Looking at the first page compared to the last, it's nice to see that even after all these years The Grind does, in fact, have results and visible progress is possible.
(If you're curious, what's going on on the left is that I draw it, trace the ref, and make notes about what I got wrong. It's useful to actually note these, things, even if you don't check back the process of writing it out helps to cement it in your mind.)
