Translation:
You aren’t going to get in my way today?
Ah, it was just a new type of attack.
somehow I ended up on a cheerleading youtube channel and I haven't known peace ever since
The ability for Jewish people say that a Jewish person is minimizing the atrocity of the Holocaust by comparing it to the genocide in Gaza when he just helped make a movie about one of many stories of Jewish suffering during the Holocaust that won an award. Just goes to show how people will get so defensive when someone points out that what their supporting may be wrong so you twist someone's words so that it looks like an attack on you and you can be the victim that is standing up to their ignorance and bullying.
Maybe if these people broke out of their biases and acknowledged that maybe the victims have now become the bullies they would understand. 'Cause guess what? It's actually pretty common for people to harm others when they have been harmed so is it really out of the question for a whole government to do the same? Really?
I urge people to use their critical thinking skills to look at the facts and remember that having humanity and seeking justice means that you care about the atrocities that happen to any kind of person and not just the ones that are like you.
I am appalled that so many Jewish creators and business people are justifying this genocide by almost saying what their ancestors went through is worse.
I am also simultaneously relieved and proud of every Jewish person who sees the similarities of their ancestors to the suffering of the Palestinians. They and everyone else supporting the Palestinians can fight for people unlike them because they are human beings who do not deserve to be slaughtered. They are being murdered because they are considered to be less than another group with more power. They understand that Palestinians deserve to have a life of peace joy and safety. They deserve to thrive just as everyone deserves a chance to thrive and not just survive.
This genocide is just more evidence to prove that this violence has more to do with caste systems in the world than just basing it off of intolerance of religion, race, gender, sexuality, or any other feature. It is about one group having the power to say I think I am better than you for whatever reason and therefore I have the right to decide whether you live or die and it is okay because I am better than you. It is a fact that because I have more power, I am better than you and I am worth more than you. It isn't just a hate but indifference to those unlike you that is a dangerous thing to have in this world.
I needed to express some of my thoughts on this because it has bothered me so much the way people are overlooking this and reducing what is happening in Gaza.
Ramadan is coming up and I can’t stress enough how much Palestinians have never got the chance to experience one normal Ramadan for 75years
You may not have been subjected to this, but as a person from an Arabic country, every Ramadan from every year there’s always headlines of Israeli iof soldiers or Israeli extremist settlers attacking Palestinians during Ramadan, especially Palestinian worshipers trying to pray in the al aqsa mosque
It’s happens almost every single year
Ramadan is suppoused to be Muslim people’s month of worship, of Baraka and it is very important to Muslim people
But Palestinians never ever experienced a normal Ramadan because Israel attacks them Viciously
Almost
Every
Single
Fucking
Year
And I will dare and say that Israel does it on purpose, it does it every Ramadan on purpose
And now, this year, with Ramadan being only a few weeks away, I doubt that they’ll have a normal Ramadan, not in the West Bank, and not in Gaza
All what I have to say here is that Israel will still follow this trend, something bad is gonna happen this Ramadan, keep an eye on Palestine during Ramadan

Don’t get me wrong, I love the dreamy fairytale-ness of the Ghibli movie version of Howl’s Moving Castle, but the book. The book. Sophie, first off, being so incredibly set on being the boring un-gifted un-adventuresome eldest daughter (as is right and fitting for an eldest daughter to be) that she doesn’t notice she’s working magic, like, constantly? And when a witch shows up like “hey girlie you are fully working SO much magic that I’m feeling threatened, so like I’m gonna put you in the old lady dimension ciao,” she’s like well. That was weird. Anyway I guess I better go find something to do as an old lady. And she reasons that this famously evil sorcerer who eats young girls’ hearts is probably safe for her now cause like. She’s old. What’s he gonna do to me. And proceeds to bully her way into becoming his cleaning lady. And Howl, known flaky whimsical fuckboy extraordinaire, is like sure okay I guess that works for me. And just as well because it turns out he’s also a fucking bottom who kinda digs this strong stubborn lady who’s steamrolled her way into his life, kinda weird that she’s disguised as an old woman but w/e he’s not gonna question her life choices and like it’s not actually a problem for him, and by the time Sophie’s figured out that oh crap oh shit she’s actually kinda into this flighty asshole, what am I gonna do, he’d never return my feelings in a hundred years, Howl’s basically accepted that they’re mostly married. And also how can you top “my extremely powerful and slightly fey wizard is just a Welsh grad student who wandered into a portal one day” for a character concept. You can’t. It’s the perfect book really

I personally know there are multiple types of editing but I've never seen anyone explain it in a way that actually made me understand what the types of editing actually were (yeah cool that you say {}editing is different from []editing but *how*). So if you wanna explain, feel free to.
Your handy-dandy guide to different types of editing
disclaimer: writers, you can literally edit however works for you. these distinction can be useful to your process, or just if you're looking to hire an editor. Not all editors make distinctions in this way; there are various ways of dividing. But no matter what vocabulary you use, it's best practice to start with broad, big-picture stuff and move towards narrower issues. Some editors do all levels of editing, while some specialize.
Developmental Editing (Is it a good story?)
Developmental editing has to do with the content. For a novel, that means working on the bones of the story. The plot. The pacing. The characters. Do their motivations make sense? Can the reader understand why things are happening? Does the story drag in places, or seem to brush past important elements? Do all of the subplots get resolved? etc. etc. (At this stage an editor is mostly going to be offering suggestions, pointing out issues, and throwing out potential solutions. Beta readers can also be very helpful at this stage to get a reader's perspective on the story beats and characters.)
Line Editing (is it well written?)
Sometimes called substantive editing, line editing is zooming in a little bit more to focus on scenes, paragraphs and sentences. Once we've decided that a scene is going to stay, lets look at the mechanics of how it plays out. Does the scene start to early or too late? Does the writing style communicate the emotions we want the reader to feel? Does the dialogue match the characters' voices? do any of the sentences sound awkward or ugly? Is the movement being bogged down by too much purple prose anywhere, or is there not enough detail? (This can get pretty subjective, so it's important that the writer and the editor are on the same page with taste, style goals, etc.)
Copy Editing (is is correct?)
Copy editing is all about the details. Think grammar and punctuation. Do the sentences make sense? are they grammatically correct? Is the dialogue punctuated correctly? Any misspellings? Should this be hyphenated? Should this be capitalized? Should we use a numeral, or write out the number? etc etc. A significant part of copy editing is matching everything to a style manual (like Chicago or AP) a house style guide (individualized preferences from a publisher, for example), and a project's own internal style sheet (are the character's names spelled the same every time? if we used "leaped" in chapter 4, we shouldn't use "leapt" in chapter 7) Copy editing is still subjective, but less so than the earlier levels, so a copyeditor will be more likely to just go in and make a bunch of (tracked!) changes without consulting the author for everything.
Bonus: Proofreading (did the copyeditor catch everything? are there typos? formatting issues? have any errors been introduced?)
Lots of people say editing when they really mean proofreading. Proofreading is the absolute last thing to get done. It's the one last pass just before something is published. It's important, but as you can see, there's a whole lot more to editing than just checking for typos.
