This was day one of our tour so it was an early morning. Our tour guide was Ange and our bus was called Odie. Our first stop was Conoburee for coffee. There were two buffalos and a salt water crocodile there too. After that we had a drive to Mary river national park which has one of the highest concentrations of salt water crocodiles in Australia. Here we did Rockhole boat cruise and saw load of crocs! There were more salt waters than fresh wasters there. We had lunch then set off to Kakadu national park. We stopped first at Bowali information centre. We went around the centre then got an ice cream. We pilled back into the van for a quick drive to Ubirr. We saw some rock art here and Ange told us the stories behind the art and about what the space was used for. Â After, we climbed up the rocky out look to look over Arnham land. We got some nice pictures from the top including a group photo. It was extraordinary to see the massive changes in the landscape as you stood at the top and looked around. One moment you were looking over a flat, grassy savannah then turn 90 degrees and you were looking at a rocky, hilly landscape. We had the climb back down and travelled to our camp at Cooinda. This camp had little two man tents with mattresses on the floor. After helping with dinner we had a couple of drinks at the bar before heading to bed.
