Slowly making my way through Farscape, and while I’m still kinda eh on Dargo as a character, I must confess I keep falling victim to the horniness of his costume/makeup design? Huge, buff man, deep voice, magnificent beard, outfit that features wide shoulders, snatched waist, and a ridiculously wide plunging neckline featuring ENORMOUS, tatooed, and pierced?? Pecs?? And a head full of those classically alien horny tentacles head things AND long luxurious hair?? Like, how am I not supposed to passively salivate at any of that?

When I heard She-Ra was getting pulled from Netflix I felt a need to make something in honor of the show. I've loved the show since it came out, it feels criminal that the powers that be would erase it from (legal) existence. The characters and the story mean so much to me, they're going to stay with me for a long time. Protect Queer Art!!

With all the talk of She-Ra being abandoned by Netflix, I’ve been rewatching the show, and decided I wanted to make some kinda painting for it. So, here’s my sketch. More WIP progress to come

Started blocking in some of the colors one way, then changed my mind on how I wanted to do it midway through haha

Got a few more colors in, was gonna get more done tonight but alas other things came up. Hopefully I can clean up some of the muddier areas later

Putting 'em all together in one post, my Babylon 5 watercolor triptych is done! I had originally just done the Delenn one, but inspiration struck and a G'kar followed, and a Londo soon after. It's never too late to get into a show that's been off the air for decades! Bonus: They look so nice hanging on my wall, I might actually get some frames one of these days :')

I didn’t do a progress post for my G’kar painting, but I figure maybe if I do it for my Londo one it’ll help me actually work on it haha

Did a Delenn painting awhile back, decided I liked it enough to do a G’kar one too, and then it occurred to me having a Londo portrait would make a really nice triptych of the three. This, the start of a Londo illustration!

Some more progress shots as I enter into masking hell

Got through the background today, had a couple boo-boos with the masking but I should be able to clean them up as I go

Did some work on the shadow vessel today

He is a purple boi

Got a wee bit more coloring done

Did some detail work this evening
