No one died. All 7 of them are alive. I Need U showed the happy moments amongst the tragic ones. RUN showed the tragic moments within the happy ones. That is youth. They portrayed the epitome of youth. The maze in Young Forever symbolises them transitioning from the sublime youth and into adulthood. Although scattered and all over the place, their youth is their Most Beautiful Moment In Life because they are able to move past the struggles that they are susceptible to during that time of youth. They’re telling us that by remaining attached and connected with those moments - no matter how tragic or how joyous, that is how we can stay ‘young forever’.

There are no mind games. No complicated theories. As they have said a countless number of times, they have delved into the depths of their youth to produce something that can capture these beautiful moments. Like their music, they have matured as artists and as people.

One day it might all end. No more concerts. Empty seats. No more new music. But they want to hold on to what they have now, forever. They want to hold onto their youth and the achievements and satisfactions that have come along with it. They want to hold onto us forever.

Nothing of the intense amount of hard work he put in just to be able to keep up with bangtan. None of how he went to university for acting but came into bangtan for singing and dancing. None of how he displayed said skilled acting in a couple of interviews and even in their acting based MVs I NEED U and RUN, and to this day still does not have an acting gig. Absolutely zero of how he has sought out to interact with fans on so many levels! Making a separate Jin page on their website for his recipes, initiating a Mukkbang segment on their Bangtan Bombs, making those weird Photoshop challenges on Twitter. Little to none of how his self confidence is beautifully inspiring in that it makes me aspire to be as comfortable and loving with myself. (Or how his laugh is so stinking cute and it sounds like a honking goose…) None of the fact that even if he’s he eldest hyung he doesn’t lash out at the others when they make (sometimes one too many) jokes about him. Even none of how when he publicly tells ARMYs that when Eat Jin is his thing (and he’s so protective of it because it’s one of the few things he can do to claim as his own and be known for it) they shouldn’t be looking for the other members. And absolutely void of how persevering and humble this guy is in the sense that he puts in so much of the extra effort but he doesn’t show the fact off to get praise for working his butt off. He is so honest and mature in his own sense and people fail to see this so so so very often.

He just does it. And he gets little in return… He gets so many people who doubt his position as visual in BTS, those that question his existence as a BTS member, or an idol even! He gets those who see him as an ordinary member, and not one filled with a colourful personality and hilarious quirks, just like the rest of bangtan…
