[ahhhhh hello! Another ask blog from the mod of @askthehedgehogs and @asktheyurihogs !! This one will NOT be an art blog. Text-based answers only. I don’t have a death wish lmaoooo.
Normal Folks/no powers AU. Sonic and Shadow are both on the same internship for ARKnews. Their final project is in set groups, and they’ve been shoved together, which they are not happy about. As if sharing a tiny apartment wasn’t bad enough… the project requires them to run a blog, so that’s why they’re here! Also, the projects will be judged and the best group will secure a full-time job at ARK… highly competitive stuff. I won’t say any more, spoils the fun of asking them stuff!

Shadow, if you hadn't known Maria then what happened still probably would've happened. Gerald was the one working for Doom and they would've still had some falling out that would have lead to Doom taking the same drastic measures against Gerald since Maria was clearly all he cared for. The only difference you made was making her life a lot better just by knowing you.
Well, now that the dust has settled. How does it feel to know what truly caused Maria's death? To know for sure that Doom was the one to end her life, all in the hopes to get you back to him.
......... All this time, I was looking for answers, but deep down I feared it was really my fault. I thought knowing it was Doom would lessen the guilt. But it still feels like my fault. If I never existed, Maria may still be alive.
I'm betting that lab is finally being demolished or cleared out since it's the only evidence you have of Doom's actions. I just wish you guys managed to secure something from that place.

A couple years ago due to financial reasons I had to live with my partner and their family for a while and while I truly loved them all and I appreciate how welcome they made me feel being in a house full of kids as a grown adult kinda sucks!! There's was literally no privacy ever and it was always noisy. It wasn't even as simple as locking ourselves in the room either because we shared a wall with a 10 yo. I love seeing everyone during the holidays but I would truly rather live in a box outside than with all of them under the same roof again.
Heh. I mean, I honestly don't mind it that much. I'm used to noisy households full of kids. Sure beats living alone! But it's definitely not big enough for all of us, plus since Vector and Vanilla foster there are a couple rules in place.

It'll be great for you 2 to get a place for a little comfort and privacy. Don't get me wrong spending time with family is always great and I love and cherish them forever but I grew up with 6 siblings and I can admit I'm quite happy to be alone in my home with just my wife and our pets 😅

I'm gonna be honest, we haven't needed two beds for a looooooong time. Like, wayyyyy before we started dating. We basically had two beds just for show before.

Oh, absolutely awesome.
It's been three months now so things have kind of settled and shifted and flattened out a tonne. Plus my fur has all grown back in so I don't look like a weird bald-chested hedgehog, and it hides the scarring a tiny bit. Still got a ways to go before the scars start fading, but I kinda like them, y'know?
