“pretty name.” the young fledgling couldn’t possibly understand what was happening, or why she felt drawn to this woman. then again, even the very first guardian angels had to come into their new purpose. meeting their charges, a wonder as well as a blessing. “would you like to get a coffee or something?”

“we don’t know each other, do we?” the angel asked, thought clear on her face. “but i’ve seen you around before.” she was drawn to the familiarity the other girl was putting off, and didn’t know the right way to go about her curiosity. “i’m ariel.”
