How do you get over someone you never met. How do you even begin to mourn something that was only ever a feeling? - Well, you start by listening to Rock'n'Roll Suicide and you end by listening to each album twice in order. And then you remember that deep down we’re all just kids and how much hope does it give you that someone who knows pain that as raw as Bowie did can manage to live to 69 and die from something as boring as cancer. - And now go look in the mirror and tell yourself that you’re gonna die in an equally mundane way and damn them to hell if they think that you won’t be surrounded by the people who love you. Maybe that’ll be one. Maybe that’ll be 7 billion.”
