Review of Lugang Cafe
Hey there lovelies! I have been a bit absent on blogging but I am back with a new post!
Since I am a foodie & aspiring entrepreneur, I love restaurants & cafƩs. You get to see other people doing their daily tasks while you, yourself, can enjoy the establishments food & drinks while being inspired by your surroundings.
Honestly speaking, we were looking for a different restaurant at that time but felt defeated when we couldn't find it in Mall of Asia - so we settled with trying Lugang Cafe, & it did not disappoint!
Luckily, we arrived at a good time where there was not that many customers waiting outside or in que. The picture above was taken after we ate & decided to roam around again. The que was long & more people were coming!
The interior was amazing! I love how spacious it was & how many tables it can occupy - it even had a 2nd level to accomodate more pax.
Even though we were seated once we arrived, you can feel the hustle & bustle of everyone inside. It was packed with customers & staff were busy. You really have to be patient when things like this happen & understand that you might not be entertained immediately by any staff.
What did we order?
As a first timer at Lugang Cafe, I really didn't know what their specialty was. But having surveyed their menu, there were so many dishes in which you could choose from! Xiao long baos, soups, seafood, noodles, etc.
We ordered (1) Wonton Soup, (2) Tofu with Century Egg & Pork Floss, (3) Shredded Pork with Pancakes, and (4) Vietnamese Egg Rolls.
It took just about 25-30mins for our drinks & dishes to be served to us but the Egg Rolls were a bit late so we just had it for take away.
The food was AMAZING and the prices are reasonable!! I really loved the Shredded Pork with Pancake, it reminded me of Peking Duck which they have too! The Egg Rolls were also good - the wrap they used was a different one so it has a different texture than your regular egg roll but the filling consisted mostly of pork, veggies, and glass noodles.
Lugang Cafe has great ambience, food, and I can't wait to visit again!

Hello, October!
Yesterday was the last day of my Blogtember Series but I didnāt get a chance to blog though so, to welcome the new month, Iāve went back to Bullet Journaling & wrote down on my new notebook which is from Muji!
Itās my first time to try a blank sketchbook for my bullet journal & I am loving it already! I just have this amazing space & freedom to sketch & journal.
Put some pictures & quote on the cover of the notebook to just spice it up a bit even though itās simple. Washitapes I used were from Muji too. (Pictures are not mine - found them in Pinterest)
You are the risk Iāll always take ā„ļø
A quote or reminder to myself ~
My theme for this month is āM A G I Cā
Also added my own flare to drawing but really, Iām not good at it. Lol. But since October is the month for the supernatural, I decided to stick with the magical side!
Added a mini-calendar to the left to add icons on the date if there are events or trips then on the right side, I can write down the said events for PERSONAL and BUSINESS.
Decided to try doing some Trackers if itāll be effective & if I can track my everyday habits, mood, & sleep.
Drew tarot cards for the dates & added the day on the side then drew, or tried, a snake & lotus.
And thatās it for my October Bullet Journal! š
Whatās your monthly theme?

Blogtember Series: āMeaning of our Dreamsā
Wassup lovelies?! Yes, Iāve been absent for so many days - my apologies. But now I have a new post for you guys that I find so interesting.
I am now trying to log my dreams, if I can to be honest, and identify the important things that I really felt with my senses.
Our dreams can contribute so many things to us & we mostly forget them once we open our eyes. I feel that they can tell us about our wants & needs, present & future, etc.
As you can see, I listed down my dream as accurate as possible & wrote down in red the important details I had for that dream & searched or gave my own interpretation of those important details. When dreaming, our senses are also active & I happen to smell or feel certain things.
As for this sticky note, I just wrote down my thoughts & assurances for myself according to the information I gathered from my dream which I find helpful & really gives me more positive encouragement for the day & for the rest of the week!
I actually wrote this down on my hybrid journal which Iāll be making a flip-through video very soon!
What are your dreams telling you?

Blogtember Series: āHappy moments of lifeā
Hi there lovelies!
I just want to express & transfer my positive energy towards you & to the people around me. We can get caught up in our life that sometimes we just donāt see that weāre often automatically doing things & then realize that the day just went by - or just want the day to end as soon as you open your eyes.
We forget the happiness we had, the feeling of positivity & wonder. As we grow, we tend to be more serious & attach ourselves to things & people that wonāt or doesnāt add value into our future & present happiness.
If there was a day you need for yourself i.e. doing nothing all day, pampering yourself, going out to have fun - PLEASE DO. We as humans need to relax & recharge. But most importantly, you need to be happy with what you have & where you are.
When Iām feeling down, I tend to meditate & find my zen. A few quiet minutes with my inner self really helps me release the negativity & visualize the road to my goals. A hug from my little one also helps & gives me more energy! If your meditation process involves you exercising or cleaning, GO!
The road to happiness is a simple sentence that we tend to forget - LOVE YOURSELF šŗ

Blogtember Series: āRestaurant Review - Jamieās Italianā
Hey there lovelies!! Iāve been absent for the past 2 days? Sorry about that, but I have something amazing to share with you!
Yesterday, we celebrated my birthday & I requested to try a restaurant that we havenāt visited nor tried out, hence, Jamieās Italian.
Exterior was simple yet captivating! You can also see the assigned person making the fresh pastas for the dishes being ordered by customers.
Interior was so spacious too! You wouldnāt think that they have that amount of tables when youāre outside. The decor is also stunning & a design that I like too! Atmosphere was calming & wished I had a chance to really capture the whole restaurant. Customer service was good too! Even though itās a weekend - BRAVO!
The simplicity of their menu also is something I find fascinating - amazing design & straight to the point kind of menu items.
Little one was even provided with some crayons & a coloring sheet to pass the time
Ordered the āPicnic Boxā from their Kids Menu that comes with an apple (which my little one grabbed immediately!), chicken wrap split into 2, sweet potato fries, fresh strawberries, a veggie jar (not really seen in the picture), & an orange juice.
For myself, I ordered the Ravioli Mezzaluna (yummy!), the tomato sauce matches the ravioli perfectly with some mozzarella bits & a Passion Fruit Iced Tea thatās so refreshing!
Thoughts ~
Atmosphere - āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø
Exterior & interior
Service - āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø

Thatās my honest review & experience at Jamieās Italian! Canāt wait to go back & try more food from their menu!
Have you tried this restaurant yet?

BLOGTEMBER SERIES: āBirthday Tarot Readingā
Hey hey heeeyyy - itās my birthday. šŗ
Another blog about tarot reading but itāll be my past, present, & future! Going to share with you my readings & if you want to get yourself an online reading, go to >> www.tellmytarot.com
Tarot cards featured here are from Biddy Tarotās Pinterest account! Hereās my reading ~
The Past
Two of Wands (reversed)
> Fear of unknown, lack of planning
> Looking back last year I can confidently say that I have been afraid of the unknown so much, most of us will be afraid of it too, & I just didnāt what will happen to me so that left me very scared
> I also want to do something with my life but I donāt know where to start which leads me to just neglect it or Iāll just wonāt bother in planning it
The Present
Page of Cups (upright)
> Creative beginnings, synchronicity
> This year has been an amazing experience for me because I finally had a rhythm to my everyday life
> I feel at peace & relaxed - a feeling that I cherish truly because I feel & know that I am on the right track!
> I am also getting in touch with my creative side which is a good way to unwind & feel positive about my life where I am now
The Future
Queen of Cups (upright)
> Emotional security, intuitive
> This is what my future holds & I am quite happy about it - all of us for sure want a happy future, but having this card drawn today is what I needed to keep on track
> This card also gave me a glimpse to my future which holds a very positive & calming outcome
> This card may symbolize the near future or the far future but regardless, I am sure that I will have a good one after all the bad experiences I endured
=======================================
Love having a reading!! So happy to also have downloaded a ācheat-sheetā to understanding the meaning of the cards more. I am both learning & understanding each keyword/s for the card.
Howās your day going? Hope youāre having a good one like me!

BLOGTEMBER SERIES: āMy experience working in a restaurantā
Hello lovelies!! Itās almost my birthday & I had an idea - Iām going to share with your guys what really goes down in the Food & Beverage section. Why? Because I got hired a few days before my birthday back in 2015. I worked at the counter of the restaurant, handling orders & being a cashier - not really a waitress because I wasnāt serving tables but of course, every staff needs to have product knowledge.
Itās a great job & Iām a Hospitality graduate so yes, I love the work - but you really need to be prepared physically & mentally.
Iāve had internships while studying so I had a few monthsā experience in hotels & restaurants. Anyways, my first time to get a job with diverse staff was fun, exciting, & thrilling because I am also dealing with diverse customers.
When being in ANY hospitality work, you really need to be prepared. Some customers are fun to interact with, some are okay, some are annoying, & some are really really unbearable - this is not a judgement towards the certain person but how they interacted with me or any of the hospitality staff.
So...here are my memorable work experience (good/bad) in the restaurant industry:
After closing time & there are some left overs, some are thrown away & some can be taken home!! The sweets I took home every night was filling my familyās bellies. Lol. Some of my colleagues would even talk to me before closing time just to reserve some of the sweets before theyāre gone.
Sometimes I get hungry before closing time & Iād ask the head chef that day if I can take some food home (cooked before closing) because the time I get home, I sometimes would just sleep & not eat. Of course this wonāt always happen everytime so I have to pick my days when requesting.
One day, a customer walked up to the counter & requested a menu to look on. Told him that he can sit down at a table & the waiter/waitress covering that area will entertain him. Saw him sit down & a waiter came over to the counter to request something then at the corner of my eye I can see him get up, head over to me with an annoyed face. He started cussing at me that he was waiting for 30 minutes & no one was even approaching his table - this was on a day when we were not busy AT ALL. We just let him leave & cuss.
Another not-so-busy day came by & a woman came to our restaurant for some sweets. I got her order & told her Iāll deliver it to her desired table. My manager came to the counter from the kitchen to check on things & I tried to look for the waiter covering the area where the guest sat. Out of nowhere, the woman rushed to me & wanted to talk to the manager because I was so slow. My manager calmed her down & they talked at her table. After a few minutes, her order was on the house. Maybe it was my fault or not? Either way, not a good day for me.
The counter where I work has a bar area beside it, one time someone went to the bar & just started eating the biscuits we give to our customers with their coffee-based drinks. He started maming his way to the far back of the restaurant & sat beside a family who were happily eating. This person began asking the family for food (I guess?) because I was working at the counter. Told the head waiter what I saw & the head waiter went to the person & said he needed to leave the family alone & leave the restaurant. He didnāt move an inch. Luckily a security guard came by & the head waiter took that opportunity to talk to the guard - but when they were going to the table where the person was seating previously, he was gone. The guard talked to me after that & the barista from the bar to get information.
As you can see, there are good days & bad days along with great customers & unberable ones too. If you wish to be in this industry, I HIGHLY suggest that you are brave enough to smile & hold your tongue. Itās a great industry to be in but alas, you are also dealing with people who are unpredictable.
=====================================
I do miss being in a fast-paced industry surrounded by delicious foods & amazing (few) colleagues. Hopefully, Iāll get to be in that space soon.
If youāve worked in this kind of industry, what was your most memorable (good/bad) day?
xx
There will always be days where youāre not okay & thatās okay - better days are coming & everything will get better
Acknowledge that youāre having a bad day but donāt ever think that you have a bad life because your life can always get better
Love yourself enough to remove anything or people from your life that just gives you negative & toxic vibes because you deserve so much more

Day 11 lovelies! Another TBL for you but this oneās from my home country, Philippines! Like many, if not most, of the Filipinos - I havenāt really explored my home country. I only stay in 2 places which are my home town & the capital of the country. Kind of embarrassing but yes, thatās me.
So I decided to search the popular places in the Philippines & go there like Iām not a local & just one of the tourists. Lol. But also, I want to go somewhere where the tourists donāt visit or go that often.
Of course, I had to put it in my hybrid journal as to not forget where I want to go & where I put the list. Good thing too that I bought this notebook.
