“thanks.” he muttered as he opened the bottle, instantly taking a swig from the bottle. “that’s probably best. and yeah, i’ll be fine. i just, need a bit of a break right now.”

“that’s not a bad thing, at least you’ll look young forever.”

“it’s not, there’s a bright side to everything. and i’m pretty stoked for the grey hair.”

aria shuffled through the files before finding the bottle and pulling it out of hiding. “here.” she handed it off to him. “i’m not asking you talk about whatever’s bothering you, but are you gonna be okay after this?” 

“stop i’m blushing!” she laughed, trying to move her head as little as possible. “it’s hard to make people like you ugly, you have such an adorable face.”

“it’s the curse of the baby face.” she laughed. “i look the same now as i did when i was eleven.” 

“i don’t wanna talk about it. just get me a bottle of jack and make me forget about shit for a while.”

“okay, okay. but i’m not drinking just in case you need some sober assistance. where do you keep it?” 

“i better look cute when you’re done, if not i’m going to make you look so ugly. that reminds me, can i do your make up?”

“you’d look cute even if i braided a beehive into your hair. which i’m not. don’t worry, i’ve been doing these braids since i was six. you can. even if it’s just to make me ugly. i’ll embrace it.”
