So, I was looking through Eleven screenshots because I wanted to find reference for a picture I was drawing. Then I saw this picture I realized how fucking devastating it is. I mean, it’s sad in the show, but after you finish the series you’re crushed. I mean here is this girl running around a junkyard with a group of boys she doesn’t even know wearing a fake, blonde wig that doesn’t look right on her. Her clothes are too big, and that dress is beyond her timeline. However, here she is wearing it anyway trying DESPERATELY hard to feel normal. She figures if she’s quiet enough, she’d be a regular kid just like everyone else is. And then she realizes she’s not normal. She’s never going to be normal. That wig is never going to fit. She’s never going to be able to wear those clothes and go to school.
