I love the percy and Clarisse dynamic. Like yeah lets pretend we hate each other but we actually don't but if anyone finds out im gonna have to kill you bestie.
And it might have been this way in the books but it so much more developed in the show

Tell me why I literally forgot Chris was on Luke's side? I was genuinely shocked when he turned on Clarisse
Not that I dont live for the ✨️drama✨️ but what was the point of Luke stabbing Percy? Like we already know the fleece is strong and its not like Luke hasn't tried to kill percy before (unless im remembering the s1 finale wrong)
I do however love that they added the detail of percy making sure to hide his shirt from mortals and then doubling that effort when he realized sally was there.
Grover being horrified at the idea of Percy being their getaway driver is amazing and this gag better continue through the series
I think the pjo podcast is one of my favorite things they decided to do with the show. You can really tell how much the cast and crew care about each other and they genuinely feel like a big family.
Like what do you mean Aryan wrote his college essay about something Andrew Mcllroy said to him?

hey pjo show crew i thought this was a ✨️kids✨️ show on ✨️disney+✨️
Why oh why am I looking at a bunch of corpses up close and personal
idk what happened to the script but its supposed to be Grover and Clarisse on polyphemus' island.
not Grover and Jason
silly writers
I dont care what anyone says abt faithfulness to the books the siren scene was amazing and showcased Annabeths fatal flaw so well and her desire to prove herself to Athena. We got Percy declaring he'd burn down Olympus for her and that she saved him from the sirens (which river styx foreshadowing?). I can handle there being no underwear hug.
if i had a nickel for everytime grover got dragged across the sand by some terrifying creature I'd have 2 nickels
which isn't a lot but im sure I'll be rich by the end of the series
Why is lin manuel miranda making instrument puns on my screen

Can we please talk abt percy apologizing to Luke after he slashed him (because Greeks do the slashy slashy not the stabby) even though Luke was at that point trying to at the very least seriously maim him.
I love how they are showing the fatal flaws before they are heavily explored.
Kronos telling percy his survival is the key to his revival as if this child doesn't have enough of a self sacrificing streak as it is.
This was by far the best episode because even as a book reader I was having heart palpations during the scenes with Luke, and I actually got so scared when sally said it's time to wake up and then Kronos appeared because I was lured into a false sense of security and thought something crazy was abt to go down.
I actually really love how poseidon came to see sally when she called. In the books he always says how much he loved Sally, but since it's from Percy's pov and poseidon can't interact with percy before he knew he was a demi god, it just feels empty because theres no proof. Since the show isn't from Percy's pov though, we get to see proof that poseidon actually did care for Sally and does actually want what's best for percy.
Every part of that flashback was actually heartbreaking and the parallels made it 10x worse
"Some kids are better off with their parent" hurts a lot more when you remember how sally wanted to keep percy with her as long as possible and knew how dangerous it was to hide everything from him.
But at the same time he really isn't safe with either parent because not knowing is just as dangerous as knowing, especially if a monster or angry God finds him first.

Please I thought Hermes' "backdoor" to the underworld was getting them hit by a truck.
Percy saying "I'm okay" with tears in his eyes to comfort Annabeth... but also trying to convince himself he's fine because he is literally a 12 year old abt to sacrifice his life.
Just gonna go cry in this corner over here
