True liberation is not being understood by those committed to your distortion; it is the clinical realization that you do not require their witness to validate your reality. When friends and family have already made their choices and shown their hands, the truth becomes self-evident. You stop looking for justice in the same places you found your wounds.

To let go is to finally dismantle the trauma-coded compulsion to manage another person’s perspective. It is the final withdrawal of labor from the exhausting project of proving your humanity to those who never intended to see it.

Life keeps moving forward, even when part of us still lingers in the past. But healing cannot grow where hate is continually fed. True peace cannot be found apart from Jesus Christ.

My prayer is that, by the finish line, there will be peace, forgiveness, healing, and continual growth for the family.

That hearts would soften instead of harden, wisdom would overcome pride, and love would remain stronger than division.

Some wounds take time, but God is still able to restore what has been broken and guide toward grace, truth, and reconciliation. Not deeper bitterness shaped by the company they choose to keep.

The absence of someone can be endured with God's strength, but the absence of God leaves a void nothing else can fill. What we feed our hearts, the voices we follow and the company we keep, will either lead us toward peace or further from it.

At the end of it all, only truth, grace, and the condition of the heart before God will truly matter.
