review: a good girl’s guide to murder

this is definitely a must read if you like criminal investigation shows or stories. the writing is very simple but the format was what hooked me from the beginning, you feel like you’re reading the investigator’s notes on the case and it’s very interesting seeing everything come together, piece by piece.

it definitely has its parts where i was a little annoyed at pip (the mc) because she keeps putting herself at risk without a proper reason but i have to admit i still found her very brave and determined to follow the case, she’s a badass and extremely smart and i loved her.

now for the ending i definitely didn’t see it coming from the beginning but maybe at half of it i was already guessing part of it, buts that’s because i have literally 26 years of watching all of the criminal investigations shows there are so it’s hard for me to actually find a story that shocks me and this one was not a bad one.

my current uni has a different exam system than my previous one, meaning december exams. got my second exam tomorrow! really looking forward to an actual christmas break and not one where i have to study for january exams🎄
