I had a crazy, stressful dream last night where I had this random meeting in another city scheduled for today at 2pm that was basically an interrogation on shit that happened 6 years ago that I was like…. A side side character to and, frankly, only affected me so much because ✨ anxiety ✨ …. And I just woke up so relieved that that’s fiction. Pure fiction my subconscious brain concocted to torture myself.

#I suppose the reason for a dream like that is my deep seated fear that my past mainly the actions/ideologies/words of people from my past #make me worse of a person #which is silly in many cases because like #people are going to be people regardless of what I do and I have no say in their own decisions #but that lingering feeling makes it actively difficult at times for me to maneuver in certain social or cultural contexts #because there is anxiety of being pushed aside for not being idk pure enough or being assumed to be a bad person #and I’ve had people turn on me in the past for reasons completely unknown to me and unexplained and have suspected that certain parts of #my background might have caused people to view me as unsafe #so I just assume that…. again #it’s the part of me that apologizes for stupid things and then gets bewildered looks from others who are like um why would you apologize #like it’s never occurred to them that someone could get upset at someone for that #which idk maybe these people are just all better adjusted than I am lol #lol #personal #there’s a specific reason for this stress dream being today too #as it’s the birthday of someone who was at the center of it and I was formerly very close to #or we’re coming up on the 3 year anniversary of something else in my life that could be related #but that wasn’t what the dream was about
