#the kitty looks like my childhood cats Odie and Otis #they were from the same litter and were orange #the cat has Odie’s fur color almost exactly #Odie was just longer-haired #maybe not a domestic medium hair cat but pretty close #Otis had a darker orange pelt #they were both still around in 07 too #Odie passed in 2010 and Otis in 2011 #they were good cats #Odie was a diva though and Otis was um not the smartest #I once saw Otis very confidently walk on some papers that were hanging half off a table and look surprised when he couldn’t walk across #he fell from the table to the floor #and I just sat there and had to laugh #he was okay it was just the kitchen table #the cats jumped off and on that all the time #one time another of our cats Billie tried jumping from the table to the counter #but she used to much power of something because she went sliding right off #Dad and I were sitting in the kitchen just talking about whatever and there goes Billie sliding off the counter #she was also okay #Billie’s most concerning habit was that she’d try and eat pills #I remember having to pry a vitamin pill out of her mouth on more than one occasion #I took these feverfew supplement pills for my migraines back then #and like yeah she could put one in her mouth and walk around with it #and I don’t think feverfew would’ve been dangerous #the warrior cats used it as a medicinal herb at least #still #I wonder sometimes if the reason Billie passed so young is she got ahold of a pill #okay I should stop the tags are getting depressing
