Project two introduced the method of form-making and casting. As a followup on project one, basswood and insulation foam created a pour mold. The outcome is an exterior cast of the museum board object, with the fundamental proporties of reversed [Exterior edge/Interior form]

Project two introduced the method of form-making and casting. As a followup on project one, basswood and insulation foam created a pour mold. The outcome is an exterior cast of the museum board object, with the fundamental proporties of reversed [Intensity of edges vs. smooth form]

To blur is to create ambiguity. Through a series of focal, motion, and atmospheric blurred photographs, space was determined and given dimension. Surface was manipulated to pair intense geometry with calm form, creating an uneasy squint while viewing the interior of this 128 layer museum board object.

An as-built sectional model of Le' Corbusier's Maison Cook was created without use of digital information. Model construction was split between three students, front facade and first floor were produced by me.
