you  were  my  life   -   but  life  is  far  away  from  fair was  i  stupid  to  love  you  ?    was  i  reckless  to  help  ? was  it  obvious  to  everybody  else    -    that  i’d  fallen  for  a  lie  ?

you  were  never  on  my  side .

         His cheek presses against Ghirahim’s chest. Even through the thick cloak he could feel the steady rhythm of love’s energy. Airin’s eyes closed. A deep, slow sigh releases as his grip bunches the spirit’s uniform.

        Here he was safe. With him he was home.

when  he  felt  like  it  he  could  have  his  energy  mimic  that  sound  of  a  heartbeat ,  though  and  it  had  always  been  of  great  comfort  that  with  airin  he  could  be  exactly  who  he  was  with  no  fright  for  judgement  and  no  false  expectations  placed  upon  him .   he  remains  calm ,  at  ease ,  with  his  arms  around  the  other  and  smiling  when  they  say  it  back . . .
